If you like answering calls from Verizon customers about their bills then you'd like Afni. Most of the time it's from a pissed off customer that thinks they have been overcharged.

It's not that bad. I dunno of it still the same now but there used to be a large number of homosexual workers there not that it is a bad thing just a heads up if that is going to bother you.

Are they still feeding y'all that line? I worked there for over 7 years and they always reminded us of that line. That must be how they retain people due to their very high turnover rate. Their "Now Hiring" flag on the building hasn't been removed in the last several years.

You have to be a quick learner and be extremely patient. Most of what they teach you doesn't help. But you learn the most important things by experience there

The "Chris" on the AFNI commercial running on WBKO, you know the commercial that shows their employees talking about what a freakin' good place it is to work. Well, AFNI put "Chris" on their commercial before they knew he was a member of the "Truman Capote Society" and his mentor is J. Edgar Hoover!!!!! He's probably the reason for all the strange sounds emitting from the "men's" (LOL!) restroom!!!

I'm sure that AFNI would edit that commercial now if they only could......

Its always hiring for a reason and there is a reason almost everyone in BG has worked for them. For one, if you can handle it, it is a decent job. But where it goes wrong is. You get hired in and go through this training they feed you butt loads of info which once you are thrown on the line, Everything they taught you is almost useless because the rules change and the game is different. So basically you become stressed out. And the second thing that goes wrong is they feed you false hope by telling you that yes you will hear horror stories from ex employess and that they arent what the rumors say. But all rumors have a truth and you then are enlighten when you get pushed onto the phones and then their smiles turn into mosters and the truth comes out. The next big factor is they play favortism. There is no real point system on missing work so for the reason of allowing the ones they dont like to let go easier. I know this due to I was one of their favorites at one time and missed so many days and this one person missed one and they just booted them and trust me when i say there really wasnt a valid reason for letting them go just they was a bit shy. You better hope you dont have kids to take care of because yes they may say they will work with you but once you go pass the second or third week they begin having this quota of so many people must be let go to uphold standards in training and it tends to be the ones with children problems that go first. When asking if AFNI is a good place to work for , it is the same as asking is Walmart a good place to work at. And from my experience I prefer Walmart but that is based on the work bases. As far as how you are treated as an employee both are equal.

i just as well wanted to say before someone beats me to it. I am not saying this because of my bad experience. I wanst fired or ever in trouble for anything. I had my good record times, but I just left due to moving and honeslty hated the job. I dreaded waking up every morning going to a cubicle and answering phone after phone and working my butt off for good customer surveys when they are pointless to try for because several times you will fail a survey for just not giving credits to a customer and that goes against you and after 3 failed surveys you are fired regarless even if you did your job by not giving those credits to a customer because you followed the rules. So rules are guidlines and you must be your own judge on how to keep your job.

I know it sounds horrible and pretty much in my opinion and friends opinions it sucks. Out of several training groups, each group adverages 25 people and out of the first week of 25 people to the last week.. there is maybe 10 people left. My training group was start of 29 people and ended with only 6 after training. But if you can pass tests and be there 100% of the training days that is atleast 4 weeks of work you could get in before things go down hill and they kick you on the phones. And i mean when they kick you on the phones, its like kicking a kid who cant swim into a shark infested ocean. They say they have HR to talk to, but believe me HR is no closed doors. Many times have I caught the supervisors and other leaders discussing stuff that someone thought was private conversations.

Jenny young is definitely a full on lesbian and is in a committed relationship with a woman. She is a stripper named fluffy kitty honey. She home wrecked kitty's relationship with chocolate thunder and now they share the four kids and the child support. By the way it is a hate crime which is against the law to discriminate against anyone because of sexual orientation. So mind your business and fuck off :) have a good day!! Btws I'm gonna track ur ISP address and you will be hearing from kitty's lawyer because tattle tails definitely provides lawyers to employees!

Who was you instructor? Anyone know who's still there? I've been gone for quite some time, and heard things have changed drastically. I've had 2 experiences. First experience my instructor was Tammy, second time was Daniel.
