Pediatrician, go to Graves-Gilbert clinic, they have several. I believe Debby Sowell is there, she's great!

For autistic children, you've hit a good town. there are several well known affluent families here that have autistic children, so there's help here. Check with WKU and the Kelley Autistic foundation for help. As for schools there are several autistic children at Cumberland Trace and they have a good program there for them.

If you need a quick job, just hit up the temp agencies. They'll set you up in a few days.

Our country Jesus doesn't like poor genes breeding with quality genes!! I mean your child is autistic if that's not a sign you have *ucked up genes then maybe you need to take biology 101 all over again.

There is an empty section 8 house next to me that the owner had been collecting section 8 Money on while empty for 8 months. Please move in there for free.

For those who gave actual suggestions thank you. Where we live now is a very small town with no jobs and not many resources for my son. I have some family in Bowling Green and I will be starting WKU in the spring. So driving two hours is not a option and we are not interested in cities like Louisville and Lexington. And konen thanks for the input, it is people like you who make me thankful I have raised my sons to never grow up to be assholes who judge. We never planned on having a special needs son, but we have been blessed nonetheless with an amazing child. I hope you never know the love of a child or experience parenthood, since genetics cannot guarantee your perfect child. And we do not receive any assistance like section 8 or anything.

Bowling Green is a good town. It just has bad apples, like any other place. It'll be a good place for your autistic son to have access to helpful programs. Cumberland Trace IS an EXCELLENT school. So is Briarwood. My daughter goes to Graves Gilbert Clinic to the Pediatric Office there. We see Dr. Baker. As for good housing in your price range, it IS going to be tough. Just DO NOT rent from Mills Property Mgmt. They are horrible. Seriously. They'd painted over black mold in a house we rented from them instead of fixing the problem... needless to say, we left after they refused to remedy it.

Sorry it was not meant to be an insult to you.
It was meant to be an insult to the thieving land lords that have put us peasants in this financial mess by stealing from citizens by way of stealing from government.
People blame the section 8 renters when the land lords are screwing the system.
While the Morgans and Goldmans and Sachs and Rothschild's export our assets to china

Mr.Jim Bob Ad hominem, you contradicted yourself when you said "don't have anything nice to say...don't say anything DUMB ASS. Your point maybe would have carried some weight if you left it at "don't say anything." But when you added the comment "dumb ass" at the end you went from winning to losing Dumb ass. I only have one question, are you autistic? LMAO.

well jazzi let me just say that as a tea party member more and more people realize that we need to shun those with poor genes, i'm sorry but we don't have the money anymore to afford taking care of those with *uckedup genes when we are 17 trillion in debt. I think what you need to do is take some of those autistic children to church and have your protestant preacher pray over their possessed souls and maybe they will be healed from this disease.

You are a sad excuse of an human being. You are not being any help or being productive. Just leave the conversation alone. You do not need to be involved if you are not being useful. People with autism are no different than anyone else.

You are not listening to what people are trying to tell you. You are attacking.
What your reading is that a lot of residents here are not welcoming and don't want another mouth to feed.
I am sorry your husband is unemployed. I am sorry your not educated. I am sorry to hear about your child.
Why come here and tread on us?
