Hey all! My sister is getting married in september, and I volunteered to take care of the wedding cake. I live in Philly right now, and she lives in glasgow. So, I was wondering where people in the bowling green/glasgow area get their wedding cakes. Cost isn't an issue....I want this to be good. I found Suzian's Bakery online, but they are no longer taking orders for 2008. Help! And thanks a bunch.

There is a woman in Ohio County that makes great cakes. She even offers to put in a filling like strawberry or whatever you like. Her frosting is just awesome. She made birthday cakes for both of my kids just a few months ago. They were so good. My son had a camo cake with a hunter and a deer on it. It looked great. Her business is called Kathy's Cakes and Catering.

My daughter was married 17 years ago and there was an elderly woman in Woodburn that made her wedding cake and catered her wedding reception. All I can remember, is that her name was Ms. Icy. She lived in a big two story house in the middle of Woodburn. When we went to her house to make the arrangements during the month of April, she still had her Christmas tree up. She looked to be in her 70's then. I don't know if she is still around, but she sure did a good job catering my daughter's wedding. It's great to come across a senior citizen that is so busy working and doing for others, that she doesn't even have time to take down her Christmas tree in time for Easter. She was a "cool" lady. Good memories of Ms. Icy.

I got married about two years ago and I ordered my cake at walmart...it was great! No one could believe it came from walmart. It was three tier white cake, real white icing with basket weave decorations and purple flowers it was beautiful!

As you can see, I used my name because I have nothing to hide. The person making these false accusations is doing nothing but trying to destroy my name and my business and do it by hiding behind a fake name. They have tried before and failed. I am taking action and have already contacted an attorney. The records will be revealed as will the person who wrote it. Then, a slander case will ensue.

My Husband and I got married in May of 2010 and had ordered our wedding cake from Rileys Bakery. The cake tasted great however, just about everything else about it was off or totally wrong. We had specific instructions to have the cake set on a silver platter to match the wedding arrangements and they brought it on a copper colored one which was bad enough but the least of my horrors. We had ordered a 3 tier cake that was to have some cute flat, fondet dots of different sizes in the middle tier....instead we got some last minute, crooked, cheaply done small icing dots all of the same size. We had picked the cake from a picturebin the album, just changed the Colors and our cake was NOTHING like what we ordered. It was delivered 10 minutes before our ceremony and couldn't be changed. We got a tacky cake we didn't order!
