Bowling Green with new restaurants? Earth-shattering! lol. Way to break the mold. While this certainly does not "change the way I think about downtown", I would like to know the seven restaurants. Are we talking chains?

It says in the article they started their own restaurant group so I hope they mean real food from real chefs served by real staff that want to know the food and make your dining experience a meal to remember.

Yes...I can see it now. A takeout chef that really cares about his product and will provide an unforgettable meal.

It is quite laughable to think seven restaurants are going to succeed down their. I would be willing to bet that all the downtown town restaurants would tell you that is is very challenging right now with the number they have down their.

I think it'll be good to see something new coming to downtown. I work downtown and am looking forward to some new food options to walk to. Hitcents is taking a risk. I applaud it.

I really hate being the grammar internet police but I hate when people use their/there wrong. Mostly hicks that do it.

Maybe Hitcents will then find a way to pay their employees a respectable wage instead of preying on fresh graduates desperate for a job.

Doubt that! That is not the corporate way! They get rich and pay little and use BG taxpayers like immigrant farm workers!
BG shouldn't be involed with Houchens/Shitcents.

haters gonna hate!! It's nice to see Bowling Green grow- and if it doesn't work, it doesn't work. Hitcents from what I know is a local success story-remember the American dream people!!? if you don't like the wages, don't work for them. I work downtown and am excited to have something new!

It's called the American Dream because you have to be asleep to believe it.

SO it has a common take out area with the ability to order from all 7 resturants ??? Humm, sounds like a damn Mall Food Court to me. Bet the food will be of equal quality to. Shitty, fast, greasy, stale, bland oh and over priced. But hey, where else can you go and get a view of the train yard, little Mexico and BG Ball Park. With that great scenery, i would pay $20 for a Taco Bell equivalent Burrito and $30 for a Pizza Hut quality pizza. Sure why not ? Can't get there just anywhere.
