Should BG be concerned about the tendency to abbreviate Scooter & Myla into S & M when texting? Could attract the wrong, or right, crowd.

Ewwww on speedo!

if Jackson staff had to see gg everyday none of them would be going to pool party. Imagine the water after gg jumps in...a sheen of rust floating like fresh oil atop those tranquil waters!! And yes-verla needs to trim that shrubbery below or Joe will break out with a rash!!

Chris traded brazilian waxing for the whole staff. Mark says he is now "smoove".

Joe got his back done, all the while screaming 'KellyClarkson!'

She has that chemical in the pool that makes urine red, so watch for red clouds if Verla gets laughing.

There are absolutely no witnesses to the stories about last year's pool party where Gerald kept farting in the pool and making Joe bite the bubbles.

That probably didn't really happen, did it?

If it happened last year Joe would have been yelled at in front of all of us for not biting the bubbles correctly and for failing to get the bubbles to line up properly and salute before being bitten.

With Christine watching Joe still has to bite the bubbles when the lil general farts in the pool, but Gerald farts perfume and daffodils. And he thanks Joe for getting it done, except those two you missed completely.

Lol at Mark "smoove".

From the pool:

I just saw, and Verla is as smooove as Mark could want to be.

Do you think Christine will have a PC poolside so all staff can post play-by-play as excitement happens?

We will all be fine as long as the lines of communications stay completely open and transparent. The staff access to management reports is limited by attempts at secrecy, but we all knew that Gerald lied about his creating a Goalmaker for second quarter with his manipulation of billing and goals. The State of the Stations SOS report allows all the markets to crosscheck each other, so we should be fine in being sure that nothing can be fraudulent without some whistle-blowers catching it.

I was told that your Same Old Shit SOS report is history, literally. Too much transparency makes managers too accountable. As someone said on here, staff should feel lucky to still have phone number lists as employees quit. What used to be an incredibly open, trusting company is now trying to be covered in secrets and suspicion.

It seems that you have not checked your Forever email recently, that Stations report has joined all sales reports and station Standings as off limits to staff in BG. Somebody quoted something as if anyone really cares. Most found it depressing to see Jackson praised and BG forced to make things up to appear even close to competent in the sales and management sections. Now all can whisper and rumor because the truth will be hidden from us by our fearless leaders.

Sherri quit,(there is no Shelli at Forever, but the rest of your comments are correct). Forever will continue to lose great people because salespeople do not have to put up with management who does not appreciate real performance as they try to fake performance with favorites getting gift accounts and pretend goals. Everyone on the staff knows it.
*****I just took it from my PamMaw(also fired) revised phone lists over the years. Here is the last one year of fires or quit on the sales or management at Forever. JoeDOS and ChrisK were hired back to Forever in different positions from the other list.
1. Jaime (2010 salesperson of the year)
2. TimDOS
3. Brittany
4. Paula
5. Betty (many year veteran in BG media, now owns an agency buying media in BG)
6. Melinda
7. Lenora (2010 employee of the year; Long-term administration leader)
8. Donna
9. Michal
10. Mike
11. MichaelV
12. TonyaS
13. Jacob (experienced radio sales guy from the north)
14. Lindsey
15. Lindsay
16. ChrisM (former pharmaceuticals expert sales rep who got no radio training)
17. Kathy (30 year top biller quit this week after complaining about hostile office tactics)
18. Michelle
19. Vicky
20. Lance
21. Vanessa
22. Sherri (From the Corporate Report last week: "extremely helpful in helping make the overall goal for June. Sherri broke the $$$$ barrier in June making her goal for the sixth straight month. She finished June at 100.0% Fantastic job Sherri!! This is all new business.")
23. Joanna (abandoned by lying managers)
****
And all the others are interviewed daily by local businesses. You can't replace relationships with beginners.

Looks like nothing has changed since everyone found out that all posts on Topix are anonymous and let management know what was really happening. Hide the information so the employees can only guess about how incompetent current managers are. I heard that Gerald took his name off of the sales reports so noone can tell that he never makes a single sales call and never has to sell anything to help hit sales goals. Christine just lets him coast and counts on Joe hoarding the big accounts to produce sales numbers. So different from what I was told when hired.

Saw the actual report and our little general is still officially listed in sales, but to hide Gerald's lack of effort or personal sales he moved his name to be on the same line with Joe as Joe/Gerald. Joe keeps all of the former senior reps accounts in his House accounts stash and Gerald gets to pretend he sold something by adding /. And Christine just tolerates the illusion.

We are all rooting for Christine to hire somebody in sales who is not a total beginner, a Sr rep like the ad says, but the ad is the same one that is used to hire all these beginners.

Extended sick days is a good time to shine up the resume. But are you just sick of the excuses and terrible decision making from your managers?( Whisper)

You are wrong. Christine is on top of this and has cut out the problem people. They must have other duties that she keeps them around for but Gerald and Joe should consider themseln the bubble more than ever been....... Revenuee is your job, but it better not be a ne w a cabll in... Or a new call in or annual account.

Just as predicted, Forever commits all their promotional resources all summer long to a non-advertising on radio BG business like Harley and Harley of BG launches a huge direct mail postcard campaign discounting everything 25% to 8/31. Not even a mention of the Forever giveaway promotion on thousands of postcards. Hope you had some lube for that thank you!

Oh great! Let's lower our standards to one year experience, because what we are doing is working so well. Did Forever buy a training program? That is added to the new newspaper ad. This is getting embarrassing.

The ideal candidate is highly motivated and has a minimum of one (1) year of direct business-to-business selling. We offer an excellent compensation package, Salary plus Commission, Health Care, 401K, Bonus Plans and all the selling tools to win. Training Provided.

Radio stations go all out to sell human resources departments about the power of radio to recruit new hires. Why is it that when radio needs to hire someone, they immediately advertise in the newspaper classifieds?
