Work hard to continue to hide and deny any revealed actions and facts. Work the media like Topix and Facebook to put a good face on the abuse causing turnover. Have revealing posts and comments deleted and hidden at any opportunity. Nothing changes until the president steps in and changes the way the game is played at Beaver stadium. Coincidences?

One year ago one person took over Forever Communications management and he proudly still wears the PennState name and defends the abuse and coverup as business as usual.

Except for the lying and cover up, and the hiding of all the daily sales and standings, it is all about how people treat people in the north versus how employees expect to be respected in the south.

Got a comment from inside Forever from employee afraid to post:
"The parallel with Penn State and Forever goes deeper for some of us than the abuse and cover up and tolerance from higher ups. Working at a place like Beaver was a dream job for people growing up in these counties and you were quickly accepted into a family of Forever coworkers and owners. Now you are afraid for your job daily and the top boss says he loves that atmosphere of fear. Also, PS students and alumni are hesitant to mention PS these days in conversation, now I find myself avoiding saying that I work at Forever BG because our revolving door is such a community embarrassment. All these staff quit or get fired and they tell their family and friends and their spouse family and friends and 50 customers know they left and this small town talks. That is what our little gen. has set up for us to work at."

This employee knows fear and firing would result from the mere posting. Instead of hearing and seeing the message, Forever owners would like to stop the messengers.

Interesting thread. So the company is managed by threats and fear, lots of them are these days. The staff is using the anonymous posts to alert management to the fact that they know something that managers tried to hide by concealing all source reports.

Now Joanna quit for the second time since this thread started and management is embarrassed by that and would like that covered up too. There is too much turnover because of managers choosing to sell the products themselves instead of distributing clients to salespeople. Managers are too busy with other distractions to properly train new hires and motivate staff. As I said, interesting thread to follow. I am curious to see how actual managers would defend their actions and choices, yet they appear to be absent from the discussion.

It was hard to believe that Jo actually was not just headed to the beach again for a while and we would be hiring her back again. She just doesn't have to put up with all the crap. Management threw her to the wolves when they gave this very sharp beginner the job of walking in to replace Kathy on some longterm clients. No matter how good you are at something else, you can't expect to go in blind and replace a respected 30-year veteran. They won't learn from this and will just send another beginner into the flames.

I heard Scooter is practicing his belly drumroll to show us all at the pool party.
