My GUESS is that you need to check out one of the nearby Amish communities.......probably old order. Best wishes. Oh, BTW...........you could get your answer if you contact any Amish or Mennonite general store in the region. Best wishes.

There is a great guy named Reuben Swartz. He lives in an Amish Community in Tompkinsville. My family has been going to him since 1998.He is great. They even have an herbal store there too. I have been to another guy that looks into your eyes but he wasn't as good as Reuben. You got to really watch who you go to. Some of them really don't know what they are doing. He doesn't charge anything for you to see him. Just a donation. The money goes to a boy that has bleeding problems. They also have great fruits and veggies there too.

I have been to see the Amish doctor, Ruben, several times and would love to just set and talk with him. He is very very good at pinpointing the problem and is almost like a physic. He ask me several questions about my past that I was amazed he knew. I then bought the eye glass, the book and the poster of this study but I do not have the talent he does. I have bought home made soap and other items from them. Please remember when visiting them that they are very religious community and base their whole life on the Bible. I don't mean this in an insulting manner but when I was there, I seen several women that were showing too much body. One of the local amish community, stopped allowing people to visit their homes when they sell items (in the summer) because of disrespect and smoking. They ever had a sign up before they stopped but people didn't respect them enough to wear respectable clothing and wait to smoke until later so they closed up the home selling. Sad!

I know Reuben is amazing. He looked into my aunt's eyes and asked her about her leg. She had fell when she was a little girl and hurt her leg. She is in her 60's now and he saw that she had an injury. Yeah, I agree that people need to respect them when visiting. They don't have to help us and choose to and I am happy about that. I hate it though because I hear that Reuben wants to retire. You know how talk goes around though.

I just got back from seeing Reuben this afternoon. My wife and I both saw him and I am so thankful we did. He told us of her thyriod problem and her high blood pressure. also her restless legs. He was awesome to saw the least. I would recommend everyone to go see him. You go with or without an appointment. Once you go, you will be given his address so you can schedule your next visit.

I also heard that Reuben wants to retire and is teaching another young man to do this. Sometimes when I go down, he has this other person in there seeing people as well.

Reuben told me about my childhood, how I felt about my parents and that I have some emotional issue to work on. He was 100% right. He told me about my heart trouble before the regular doctors did. His herbs and medications he uses are great. I am so glad I saw him and would recommend him to everyone. In this day and time with the way regular doctors are handing out pills like candy, we need to question if we shouldn't be going back to the way God intended us to heal ourself.

I just emailed you the address and then you can mapquest it from your exact location.

For anyone else who would like the address here it is:

Vernon Community
V.C. Christian Charity
1205 Radure Road
Hestand, Ky 42151

I am looking at a business card from there and here are the hours. I am not sure if these are accurate still. Not sure how old this card is.

Monday, Tuesday, Friday 7:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Wednesday and Thursday and Sunday CLOSED
Saturday 7:30 a.m.- 11:30 a.m.

We have visited Reuben on Thanksgiving before because they don't celebrate it. I am not sure if he is still open that day or not. That is one of the best times to go because there was never many people there.

I saw him yesterday. He is located about 5 miles east of Lewisburg, KY on highway 106. You turn right by the church sign of "New Hope Baptist Church" and there is a gravel road to the right about one mile out called SpringView Lane. He has a white house with a building (the doctor office) beside his house right on the road. He is open everyday but Sunday. He diagnosed me with thyroid and pancreas problems which my medical doctor had just told be about earlier that day thru my yearly blood work tests. I didn't tell him anything before he looked in my eyes. It was amazing!! I would highly recommend going this route instead of taking a load of pills the drs. try to put you on!
