Yeah I also saw that picture, looks like a fake to me also. They say that people have tried to debunk it. Just because you say that people have tried to debunk doesnt mean that it is real. From the looks of it, it looks like a fake to me. What losers

Well, I happen to know that the picture was investigated by Discovery channel experts and authenticated. See it on ghost week in October. Guess they have nothing to defend. Sounds like someone that is jealous of the accomplishment or someone that doesn't like Miss Yeckering.

Most everything 'paranormal' at the Octagon house is fake. They do this to raise money. It's a great cause to keep the house maintained but it's not true. They even fake things like the 'slave graveyard'. It's just stones the owners set up where they think it should be. As far as I know Discovery Channel has no experts in paranormal photography. Someone has been watching too much TV.

Funny tale there "TRUTH SEEKER." Anyways, the team you are referring to is not a fake ass team. Everybody is entitled to their own opinions and that is just fine. But you sound like a disgruntled person who may have been rubbed the wrong way by this team or the person you named. And you guys wanna talk about losers, calling out someone by name on an internet forum to bash them when you don't even know them doesn't make you any better. So I think before anybody gets judged for something, they should hear both sides of the story if there even is one to tell. From the sound of it there isn't. Just somebody who got their toes stepped on is out to make someone else look bad. Drama, there is plenty of that in the world already. Why add more? But the great thing about free will and all is that people can say anything and get anybody to believe it. Very few actually know the truth and even fewer are willing to accept it. As a great poet once said "Believe nothing of what you hear, and half of what you see."

My message for PIRK is this: there are no experts in the paranormal field. The people who call that a fake photograph are no experts either. When the day comes and there is an expert in the field that says that photo is fake, that's the one to believe. Keep doing what you're doing and don't let people like this get you down. They live to put others down and make themselves seem better, but really they are lowering themselves. Also, putting someones name on here just because of one aspect of their life, doesn't mean they don't have a life outside of that. Personal attacks, especially on the web, are ridiculous. I agree that Truth Seeker must have something against this person, and airing out dirty laundry in a place such as this is uncalled for. Keep up the great work PIRK!

I see nothing wrong with what occupation you have and what you do in your own personal time. Once again, there are no experts, but you can be educated. Not one person on here knows these people personally. You have no idea of how educated they are in the paranormal or anything about them. Remember, these people lead lives too. It amazes me how much people try to put people down for unclear reasons. Opinions are no reason to treat these people as badly as you re treating them.

There are some live people in Franklin to be afraid of. I wouldn't worry about the de4ad ones, they won't hurt you!

Former LE: too funny. Although I would have to say with such rude, heartless, disrespectful people these days, dealing with the dead seems like a much better option. I am a firm believer that those who are like that should worry more about karma than whether a paranormal team is producing fake evidence or not. You have much bigger problems on your plate. Let people enjoy what they like doing and worry about your own lives, not someone elses.

I know all of them personally. I know that Jeff isn't a part of their team any longer. I also know that his daughter and her fiancÚ run a Christian organization that has been around for 10 years. They have done a lot of good for the BG community and surrounding communities. They have helped many families and individuals. The third member of this team is also a member of this organization. They are very selfless people always willing to help others. The publicity they have received is a great honor for them. They aren't in it to become famous. to the people on here: Don't be too quick to judge these individuals when when all you have to go on is your opinions, and you know what they say about those.

Years ago , when I was young, I helped put sheetrock in the Octigon House. Didn't see anything paranormal! We did hope to find some hidden treasure. Didn't find that either but it was fun to entertain the idea.

Thats what I like about this website. The ability to post what you want, based on fact or opinion. Good old freedom of speech. I guess it is fun to pretend that there are ghost and spooky things out there. Its like believing in UFO's. The educated people around us would like to believe that these things truly exist but like UFO's. There just isnt any justifiable proof that they exist. Much like paranormal research. Its easy to go out to some old house in the middle of the night with your night vision camcorder and go,"oh something touched my neck", its called a chill people. Not a spirit from the underworld. Grow up and get in touch with reality. Orbs? Dust. How simple is that. The octagon house? A tourist attraction. PIRK? A joke in itself. But then again, I suppose we need these type of people in society to make fun of to lighten the mood of how society is becoming. So with that being said, I thank all of our local paranormal research groups for providing the fine residents of bowling green with some mediocre and cheesy theatrical performances.

I lived in the Octagon Hall years ago. Long before Mr Byrd bought the house, before there was guided tours, etc. We did know the home was part of the underground railroad, but that was about all we knew. There are many things that happened in the house that cant be explained, and the overall 'feel' of the house was terribly uncomfortable. Infact, that is why we moved. Do I think they rig a few things at Halloween? Sure. Wheres the harm in that? I also know that theres plenty that happens in the house thats not a set up.

Ironically enough, paranormal investigators and tv shows like Ghost Hunters have done a much better job of proving ghosts do not exist and as a by-product have also proven that the American public will watch anything on TV.

Just a question: If people don't believe in the paranormal and think it is all bunk, then why do they continue to come and check the posts? Apparently, regardless of your beliefs, it still draws your attention.
