Dentists in Bowling Green
need help

Are there any good pediatric/family dentists in Bowling Green that take the medical card? Where I live, the only thing they will do is extract a tooth, it will not cover an exam, cleaning or anything else. My son has a tooth that has a cavity and I am really needing to get it looked into before it gets worse. Thanks for all of your help, it is really appreciated!

There is a free dental clinic in Bowling Green. Please give them a call before his tooth starts aching or before it becomes infected. Nothing hurts worse that a tooth ache.

Dr. Davis and Son. They both are good. My daughter and I both love them. And they dont take long at all. If you go with the free clinic it could actually take awhile to get that apointmant.

Yeah, the free clinic does take a while. It's a great service but his tooth is most likely time critical. We appreciate the free clinic.

Don't go to Briarwood Dental. Dr. Kevin Clemmons. He doesn't guarantee his work. My kids fillings have fallen out and he keeps charging. I paid a ton of money for my veneers and they keep falling out and chipping and he still keeps charging.

Funny thing No Way, I know for a fact that Briarwood guarantees their work , fillings for a year and veneers for five. Sounds like you and your kids need a lesson in oral hygiene. I do know that they dont take a medical card though. Never had a problem there and my hygienist is smokin' hot !:) If youre from Memphis, why in the world would you come to BG for the dentist?

No, they don't and I have the bills to prove it. Anyone who says the Hygienist is hot is an immature idiot anyway. Who cares? I am there to get my check up,xrays and anything that needs fixed..fixed. I obviously could afford 10 grand in veneers and wanted them to at least last more than 6 months. And I have never had a medical card or had to live off the Government. Obviously you do. I am from Memphis originally not that it matters. I can tell you are a real brainiac.

Calm down, i wasnt trying to imply you were on a medical or anything of the sort. And with my degree in engineerig on the wall, im comfortable saying that im not an idiot. All I wanted to say is that all of my experiences with Dr. Clemmons's staff have been first rate. His hygienists and assistants do great work and the front desk staff are more than helpful. Have you discussed with him why he is not guaranteeing your work?

Yes, I have and he has said I "just have a strong bite." Well....maybe he should have fixed that in the beginning and ordered different veneers. Do you know how embarrassing it is to be at dinner with clients and your teeth pop out? While my friends and I laugh about it, it isn't funny when it happens...at all. 4 of the times I was in there, his old assistant Barb, put them back in and even did posts one other time. Now they are just chipping off and he wants me to replace them. I will never be back. Same with my kids, they keep going back and getting more work done on the same things and he just keeps on charging. Ridiculous.

Something else good about the Elliotts are they let you go back with your Kids. Some places don't. They have video games in the lobby to keep your Kids from being bored, but it don't usually take very long to get you back.
I have some advice for you concerning those "doctors" or "dentists" that tell you that you cannot accompany your children. DON'T USE THEM! Who in their right mind would not accompany their child??????

Thanks all! I used to take him to a dentist that was located by the firestation near the medical center, directly across from it, but we moved away years ago and now with recent job loss and insurance coverage lost, yada yada yada.....

Its a huge ego blow enough as is losing everything and starting over, and hearing we do not take it, we do not accept it..grrrrrrr!!!!! He's a child and at least I am making sure those needs are met! At any rate, thanks again and I appreciate all of your help and will be making some calls tomorrow.:o)
