If you read the "local news" you would have seen that the women went into cardiac arrest which then caused her to run into my family memeber!!! So whose fault is that??? Good local news huh???

Why assume someone is asking to be nosey. The person asking may be truely concerned. You don't have to know someone to be show compassion or to even send up a prayer. You never know who an angel may be. So calm down and quit with the hate and aggression. And on a side note. If I experienced such trauma or even had a family member involved I would focus on them and everyone involved rather than wasting energy on topix. I will never understand why people get on topix to tell other people they are losers for being on topix. Sorry for any losses that occurred today and praying for all those involved. And no I do not have to personally know you

A car wreck is a news event. It's a accident that's publicized.

Just as I suspected: A 2007 F150 t-boned a mid '90s Buick Century that had turned in front of him. The passenger in the Century is the woman who passed away; and the driver of the truck was arrested on an unrelated warrant and not charged with any crimes related to the accident.

The picture on BG Daily News's website tells the story.

I guess I am nosey because I was wondering what happened.

I was there yesterday morning approaching the Three Springs Road intersection and heard the crash. I looked in to see the truck had hit something and the Buick spin around. The light changed, I prayed for those involved and drove on.

I'm sorry for your loss.

Are you sure about this being on the news, I didn't see anything on the website or on WBKO tonight. Are we sure someone bit the big one?
Here's the link to the article I read yesterday afternoon on the crash:

I have to wonder if the man and woman that turned into the path of the oncoming truck had a green light (turn arrow), or were in the intersection to turn and waited for the light to turn yellow before proceeding (perfectly legal) and the truck ran the yellow/red light, or if the man driving simply did not see the pickup truck....anyone know??? Also, I think it's sad and unprofessional of the Daily News (what's new though) to make such an issue of his being arrested on a warrant that was unrelated to the accident. Especially considering the bond was only $175.00. For a bond that small, it might have even been for not paying a ticket or something else trivial.

This accident just proves the facts stated in the other posts on here regarding the new fly-over bridge and new entrances/exits. It's not with the design, it's with the drivers who can't handle (learn) new higher speed intersections and roads. Too many drivers here are "little town drivers" who are only used to little roads and intersections.

If that were the case, the driver of the truck would have been issued a ticket for running a red light. The couple in the car, being from out of town, might have been confused by the yellow arrows...Not sure.

My guess is they underestimated the time they had to make it through the intersection on a yellow arrow.
seriously?

You guys need to stop being red to people who wanna know tho all news in their home town. I can understand the anger people who was involved or has family that was involved is feeling. But at least people care enough to wanna know. If it was me I'd be great ful people cared instead of not.
