What do you know about this business? They towed my car less than 2 miles and it cost me over 200 bucks. This is not right. Are they like this to everyone?

Did they tow it because it was broken down or did they inpound it? To tow 2 miles, that is a lot but if they impounded it because you parked illegally or for some reason like that, it always cost big bucks to get your car out.

All I can say is don't let Reynold's tow your car! They towed mine once and My 3 piece Louver(with a lock) just magically disappeared! This was a metal one that had been on my car for over 10 years and they denied knowing what happened to it and said it must have blown off the car!! Theiving assholes!

I know for a fact that if you are gonna get on here and talk about Walkers's Towing you need to get your facts straight. For one if this was an impound by the police dept there is contact signed by each wrecker company that they can only charge so much. So you might want to retract your story. If you were charged 200.00 this maybe it was wrecked or sit down there for several days. This company is local owned by some very good boys who treat there business right. They have loyal customers who continue to come back. If I had to have my car towed that is who I would call. Why don't you just call around and get some prices and see what you get.

I know one wrecker company that charged 500.00 just to pull a guy out of a ditch.

Better yet why don't you pay a visit to Walker's towing and complain about what you were charged and see what they will tell you. That is if you have the balls.

I work in the office at Walker's Towing and I have not seen a bill for 200.00 for a vehicle that was towed 2 miles. Please bring in a copy of the bill and I get this fixed for you. We have never charged 200.00 for a 2 mile trip.

Thanks

I say there is part of the story missing, like maybe an impound. Logically, if Walkers was charging $200 and everybody else was charging $65, they would be out of business, so common sense tells you, they are leaving out something important in this story. I applaud you for challenging them to bring the bill in and have it reviewed. I doubt they will do that, its easier to get on here and bad mouth somebody than take the proper steps to address an issue.

Thanks so much Benjy. I doubt the bill will be brought in either. But I would like to give him or her a fair change to prove to me that the bill was that high. Maybe for a tractor and trailer but never a vechile.

Have used them several times and never had this issue. They're a great company and conscientious with your vehicle.

The lady that said she works in the office stated to bring the bill and she would make it right so that's as fair as you can be. So if your telling the truth then take it to them. Larry and Jr are good people and I seriously doubt they would take advantage of anyone.

I have been towing cars in the BG area for many years and have been involved in many deals like this 200.00 charge and I know personally if the Walkers charged this much there is another story behind this. They are very respectable and honest guys, when I can`t tow someone I refer to them all the time and everyone has always told me how nice and fair they have been.
