They sell the same quality as any other used car dealer who's been in the same location for many years. You don't stay in business that long by ticking off most of your customers, though I'm sure they have their share of bad experiences just like all car dealers.

The good thing is that you can be reasonably sure they'll still be there in case you do have problems.

But all used cars in KY are sold "As Is," so take it to a mechanic you trust and pay 50 bucks or so to have it checked out real good. If you buy it and it breaks down on the way home, they really have no legal responsibility to fix it.

I have bought several cars from there and would recommend them without reservation. They sell cars at a reasonable price and they also give fair prices on trade ins. And as another poster mentioned, they have been there for MANY years so that says something about their business.

Go give them a try. I think you'll be happy.

We compared the price for our SUV to other lots and we bought from J&K. We have not had any problems from our vehicle. We currently drive it everyday and place it on the road several times a month for small trips to Nashville or Louisville. They were friendly and pleasant and the only hesitation we had was the general "what if" you get with any major purchase.(What if I find a better deal, it dies on us, etc) I love our vehicle and we have not had any problems! I hate car shopping, but I feel like we got a very reasonable deal and would not be afraid to buy from them again.

I bought one from them a long time ago, off there back lot of lower priced cars and it was a good car. Ran for a year with no problems then I ran into some radiater problems but nothing major and this was only a $1200 dollar car, I would definitely recommend them.

They are not junk at all. They sell great cars with low miles. I bought one from them and love it and it wasn't overpriced at all. They are honest and won't do you wrong.

I have purchased two vehicles there. One was an impulse buy for a convertible and I loved my car. They have me more than I expected on my trade in. There were two tiny issues (an exhaust repair and a little light cover missing on the door) and they fixed both at no charge to me. I had a baby last year and we needed to go back to a larger vehicle. We had such a great experience the first time we went back and traded our convertible for an SUV. I found the DVD player didn't work and they replaced it for me. They are so friendly and treat us like people rather than dollar signs. They all know us when we come in to make a payment and ask about the kids and such. I have never been happier with a car lot.

Could depend on your credit score or credit history. Small businesses who finance in house take a much bigger risk than big corporations. This is a small family owned business. I didn't put down anymore than I ever have with a large corporate run car lot. There could have been different factors.
