WOW, I cannot believe they claim "absolutely no restrictions ever".

Everyone should checkout the Bowling Green Parks & Recreation Fitness Center. It's a much better deal that is truly month-to-month with no contract and you can pay cash. No third party billing company involved!

You can cancel ANYTIME by simply not making the next months payment. You can also pause your membership once per month (100% free) and then resume it later and use the remaining days.

You don't get the 24/7 option BUT you get much more with your membership.

Man, my wife and I were all excited about joining there but we didn't realize all the restrictions, fees and cancellation requirements. Their ads make it sound so simple. Bummer!

Thanks for the info. I was looking forward to checking this place out. As for Parks & Rec, until the Bettina Richmond murder is solved and there is proof of better security, I will never feel safe there after dark.

Ever.

Workout Anytime here in Bowling Green should really reword their Facebook "About" verbiage. Stating...

"$15 month to month memberships with absolutely no restrictions ever!"

And then having this fee, that fee and payment/cancellation restrictions COULD be construed as false advertising.

Wow that is a lot to be said about a business before you have had a chance to judge for yourself. As for me I think I will still join because it is month to month and only $15. Always laugh at how people over exagerate and throw stones with out experiencing something directly themselves and then hiding behind their comment by not giving their name. This concept looks pretty awesome if you ask me and I actually enjoy some of the other clubs in town as well. Been a member of all them from time to time and they all have issues!

I love it when employees of other gyms try to bash a new gym that comes to town. I've seen this happen in every city that I've lived in. I have been a member of the WOAT in GA and TN and I absolutley LOVE IT!!! And now I'm a member of the Bowling Green club. There is a 30 day cancellation as it is with every other gym except BAC which is 90 days. WOAT tells you everything up front and actually has you inital beside beside the maintenance fee of $29 which is charged once per year and is waived for your first year. They do bill you monthly which I love because it makes it easier for me since I would probably forget. The equipment is the best that I've ever used.Everyone do yourself a favor and go visit every gym in town and then come visit WOAT. I will guaratee there is no comparison. But if you want to pay more for old equipment, WOAT may not be the place for you but it is for me!!! I know a lot of people that have already left other gyms here in town to join WOAT, so that should tell you something. om line is, you are always going to find people that complain about a gym so judge for yourself and don't listen to all of these comments from employees of other gyms trying to pretend to be someone else. My husband and I can't wait until the opening on Nov 1st!!!

I was actually a member of a Workout Anytime in Franklin Tn before moving to BG. I'm glad to see one finally opening up here. When I moved all I had to do is go in the club and cancel and they took care of the rest. No cancellation fee either. I agree with Jacob about over exagerating on having "Tons" of restrictions. Bottom line is this is a great club for the money and flexibility. For what it's worth...

How much does it cost per month for parks and rec?

Parks and Rec just went up to $22/month and that's just for the equipment. No 24/7 access!! And safety is an issue, as we all know around Bowling Green. My new membership is at Workout Anytime for the accessibility, safety, and value, not to mention the brand new, state of the art equipment. It's a no-brainer to me!! C-ya there.

Has workout anytime opened yet? I thought they were still working on it. I have considered getting a membership there.

I would like to know what billing company Workout Anytime here in Bowling Green uses? My family is considering a membership but we need to know who they use upfront.

Does anyone know?

You're correct eMe. They make such a definitive statement "absolutely no restrictions ever" and then in fact have numerous restrictions. Certainly sounds like it could be false advertising to me!

Don't you just love it when a new competitive business opens! The "competition" can't wait to bash them. Sounds to me like someone is worried about their lack of services compared to what the consumer will get with Workout Anytime! Only time will tell how well Workout Anytime will do. Personally, I wish them the best of luck.

If you don't wish to be billed, you can pay in full for a year.$199. Shop that around town. Over 40 locations throughout GA, TN, and KY. They must be doing something right and a lot of people must be really happy with them and the concept! Looks like they are here to stay. Can anyone tell me what the restrictions are that I keep hearing about? There aren't any. Having to pay with your debit/credit card isn't a restriction. Month to month means not having to sign a long term contract, which I didn't.

There is a 30 day agreement, so you can do 30 days or 1 or 2 years. Kinda a NO Brainer!!! Sounds like some people are scared of a little competition!!!

They had a guy in a chicken outfit standing on the corner trying to draw new customers. I'm sure the local idiot at the BG location have their heads screwed on straight.
