Yes, Jay, the snoopy is truly bad & has been for quite awhile. Most people don't realize that our government is much more advanced than the people will ever know. We typically get knowledge of the technology only 20 years after it's already been in use by our government. And their are still nuts who think they have nothing at all to be concerned about. Idiots! LOL
My FBI friend has informed me of a few things like all that surveillance stuff all the U.S. now. Ya know, Michigan & Ohio & another state were the first to have the surveillance trials of what all states now have. It was about 70% complete back in June. Probably finished now.
They've been able to read the date on a time from satellite since back in 2003 I think it was,so imagine what they can do now.
Did you read about the mannequins stores now have with audio & video, to pick up all your conversation, match you to your file, etc., etc.? A little much for me. It's one thing to watch for thieves but entirely another to not have the freedom to speak freely without knowing someone else is listening & judging your opinions or beliefs & that's where we are today.
Many places in Florida put up new traffic lights several years ago, it was all about reading license plates & facial recognition being installed.
My husband just told me the other day my notice to get my driver license renewed just came in the mail. He says I have to a "certified" birth certificate, "proof" of my social security number as in original, show proof of where I lived for last 6months via utility bills, & my vehicle registrations & some other identifying documents. I was a little shocked by all that. Not copies of anything BUT certified or original documents.
All this crap for me, BUT if any of us had wanted to walk in as an illegal alien, & claimed our name was Dufus Rufus, we'd have been granted a right to be here, all the food stamps, free housing, daycare, free education etc we could handle
without showing ANY identification. You tell me how any of this makes sense. Oh, & all that proof just to be able to drive. But the lunatic liberals insist on ZERO proof to vote.

Your comment about surveillance brought to mind a situation. I was sitting in a casino pulling on a one armed bandit in Vegas next to what looked like a six foot deep freezer. Along came one of those girls that walk around the floor and hand out Corona's to the players. She came by me, took out a key and opened this freezer next to me, much to my amazement. When I looked down into it, I said, "HOLEY CRAP!" That whole freezer from top to bottom was stacked with bills, buckets and buckets of money! Several million so I was told. She laughed when I said that and told me right above my head were cameras encased in the floral ceiling artwork, and we both could be assured someone was watching our every move, and every coin I put in the machine. They even knew how much money I spent in the casino that night. One wrong move on her part or mine and security would be behind us in seconds. As I walked around the casino there were all kinds of hidden cameras everywhere imaginable, and you couldn't see a thing. Gave me the creeps to think someone was spying on me and I didn't know where it was coming from.

We can only imagine today where we are being videoed by the long arm of the law. Someone was telling me that they can sit outside a house and pick up the chatter inside, then run it through a decoder and clearly get the conversation - it also works with lip readers. Spying on American's is now becoming a way of life,*think Drones* and I pity the next generation when we are all gone. They will never know the America we did.

Our Border, Our Integrity
What would we honestly have others do unto us, if we were illegally in someone else's country? Personally, I believe it proper to respect the laws and customs of the nation in which one lives. That means that if I broke the law in a nation where I lived, I would expect to be held accountable. In other words, I would have others deport me for violating their immigration law. For any Christian to suggest that it is their religious "duty" to reward illegal conduct is quite a stretch.
We are a nation of laws. We are supposed to be a people who follow the law. Illegal immigrants have disregarded our border, broken our laws, and disrespected all of us by the manner in which they came to this nation. Anyone whose first act upon entering this country is to violate our law should not be welcome, and those who overstay their visas should be worried. Their discomfort is a healthy reaction to the realization that our laws matter, and that there are many Americans who demand those laws be enforced.

**********

This is what I think conservatives can't understand about Obama.
Why put such a strain on this country by granting favors to those who broke the law in the first place? If these kids were born in Mexico and came with their illegal parents when they were small, how did they get into schools in the first place without a legal birth certificate? When I entered my kids in school, kindergarten on up, each time they changed schools we had to have a "certified" birth certificate as proof of citizenship and residency. All shots or immunizations had to be updated also. When I daughter entered 8th grade at a Jr. High, they told me they needed updated immunization records from her doctor. I was lucky to have kept my own records from the time of birth to date, but my doctor had to sign a paper stating this in spite of it.

That aside, granting amnesty to those who broke the law only encourages others to come on, without fear of being deported because a precedent has already been set.

Try doing that in any other country in the world, and see how soon you will be behind bars looking out!

CAN THE SENATE BE SAVED?

The most important action the Senate takes in January may not involve any legislation at all. Early next year, when the latest group of senators convene for the first time, the “world’s greatest deliberative body” may finally do something worthy of its nickname: reform the filibuster.

Try living in So. Dakota.

When your license is due you must bring in proof of birth, original *certified*, marriage certificate and three other forms of ID. If your name has changed due to marriage you must prove the trail to your current last name. In other words, if you were married before and divorced, you must bring in divorce papers to prove this also, another change of name to current marriage certificate. It does not matter if you have been a legal driver since 16 years of age, if you are a woman and you have changed your name for any reason, they want the paper trail. A friend of mine who was divorced 29 years ago, and since destroyed the divorce papers and remarried had to go through several counties in the state she was born in, to the state she was married in, to the state she was divorced in to the state she now lives in. Talk about anger and frustration. All this to renew her driver's license!

And the Mexican illegals?
yeah right!

I didn't have to bring anything to get my drivers license renewed. Just the old license and the money. Hair and make-up for photo,(optional). This was Ohio, January 2012.

Dictators such as communists, punish & threaten those who don't follow "their rules". The main way you can tell they're communists is that "Socialism requires everyone to follow the same rules", BUT
"Communism grants waivers to the political ruling class". It is dictatorship & monarchism.
You will notice that Communists countries have extremely poor folks (who will never be ABLE to be anything but poor), BUT, the leaders of all those countries live quite well in "Excessive Luxury". Look at Russia, China, & yes Africa too.

Don't forget Mexico. All their government leaders are filthy rich and live in mansions, while their citizens steal across the border to the United States - because - the president of this country feels there might be someone in that group who can enrich this country with their knowledge and leadership - if only we educate them.

It's a smoke & mirrors kind of thin to call themselves "progressive or socialist", it is a slow purposeful indoctrination into full blown Communism.
Exactly like the other poster mentioned a minute ago about how illegals are being encouraged to whine about being called "illegals", who do you think encouraged them to start that crap?
Oh, & if you're in Ca, then you should be aware of how during one of those big protests about 3 yrs ago, the SE IU vp was carrying signs that said in big letters
Communism Now. With other signs saying bury capitalism. They had signs with Chaz & Mao & Lenin on them. I can't recall the exact protest but think I still have a link somewhere to the photos.
All of this taking over is not some newly just begun deal, this has been going o for quite awhile now.
Yes I know,,, you have to many illegals in CA and there is not to many Americans left. Asians, Latinos and blacks voted for Obama, I think about 75% in CA are Democrats. When you have to many illegals, they're going to vote for you, Democrats are protecting them.

I remembered one of those protests, there was illegals, demanding rights in U.S. I couldn't believe my eyes, he has Mexican flag and said in Spanish, I have been in U.S. for 20 yrs but TV reporter Latina, has to translate for him ...not only that but our "grease monkey" Villaraigosa, Los Angels Mayor(D) was in front of the group. They were chanting in Spanish "si se puede" yes we can...they didn't have respect at least to carry American flag and say it in English ...

P.S. "wtf" will have fun with this jerks, since he criticizes my English ...at least I'm trying, I had to go to school to learn an American constitution and go in front of an Immigration officer and take Citizenship test. That's why I love this country ...
but that was different times ...

America is not what it use to be...this immigrants don't care for America...they get everything easy and it's more than what they use to have...they don't appreciate it...that's sad but true...

LOL....agree.

The word racist is a cop out, sell out, over used, abused and lacking any real significance anymore.

If I'm white and don't like a black politician, I'm racist.

If I'm white and don't like a white politician, it's an opinion.

If I'm black and don't like a white politician, I might be a racist but I'm justified.

So everybody is a racist because we takes sides in our belief based, not on the person, but our disagreement with the views and principles that person holds. Lo and behold, we can only disagree with someone without judgment if our skin colors match.

To that I say:

What Ever!!!!

Republicans are making such gigantic mistakes to please Latinos, they're electing so many Latinos across the country ...they're so desperate and completely lost it...what is going to happen, Latinos are going to elect their own, like in CA in some city halls you see pictures of elected officials nothing but Latinos ...they intimidate others, you can't say anything or going to be called racist and a bigot, and that's how you loose your country.

I think that tree harvesting is a good business , but over harvesting is not. There should be a balanced amount of forest to let be. If they cut all the trees down where would all the folks go to hunt or enjoy some bird watching. So would say sometimes I might hug a tree.:)

I think most have realized that sustainable means management and replanting. That argument has been fought and won by forestry and timber companies. Wild life management is similar, in communities where Deer Hunting was stopped they soon began to beg for hunters to control the "out of control" populations when they cause problems...Bear, cougar, Deer, Coyote, and other species. I manage my hunting grounds...and timber.

Sorry about being absent for a few but my dog requires I give attention when she demands it....LOL!!!! And I LOVE my dog.!! To the moon & back again!!:-)
I smiled as I read this because I recall how many years ago this surveillance in casinos came into existence!! I've been reading some of "New Science" articles which have blown my mind. I have to tell you it is much more far reaching than you or I could even begin to imagine. They have a tiny robot the size of a fly that can collect info, They have so much that would blow the mind of the average citizen to know.
All that crap we use to see in movies is real. It is what is going on today as we speak.
I don't know how many of you have noticed helicopters flying over your house but it has become a regular occurrence at mine. LOL. I've seen them armed with the big guns sticking out! Now, if someone could explain to me why the heck I see so many flying right over this house we bought out here in the country, then I'd be all for listening to that insight. Because it makes no sense to me that all these copters would be flying over my house. Am I the enemy ?
I certainly shouldn't be considered the enemy but dang....you have to wonder what the heck is goinon ya know?
