I'm just wondering what you all think. I would leave my husband for him will he ever leave her? I love him and could make him and his kids happy forever. I know he feels the same about me. Am I stupid for still thinking about it?

Yes, you're stupid for thinking that. Let his actions speak for themselves. I've been on both sides of this thing and it's always the same. They tell the "other woman" everything they want to hear in order to keep up their secret fantasy life with no bills to pay, kids to feed, or nagging wife to please. In the end, though, it's always (99% of the time) the nagging wife that has his heart. He has made a life with her. He'll never leave her for you. Even if he flat out says he plans on it.(which, in your case, doesn't sound like it) the proof is in the pudding, honey. Save what bit of dignity you have left and get to a marriage counselor to work on your own marriage and leave the douche bag being the one wondering where HE went wrong...if not, you'll be the one wondering that with nothing to cling to when it's too late.

If a man has a husband, he's gay, so I would think he wouldn't even be interested in a mistress.

I agree completely. I had to re-read the topic as posted and then read her story. I wonder if she even realizes what she wrote?

the man doesn't have a husband, she does-and she saying she would leave her husband for him but why won't he leave his wife for her--Either way it goes the answer is NO! A fling is a piece on the side, fantasy and the thrill of getting away with something--he has hit it and now he's ready to quit it,b ut she's not! Give it up--he's already showed you!! Have you no self worth!!?

FOR MEN, ITS ALL ABOUT SEX..FOR WOMEN ITS EMOTIONAL..THAT IS THE DIFFERENCE. HE IS NOT GOING TO LEAVE HOME FOR YOU. I HAVE BEEN THROUGH THIS MYSELF...YOU ARE JUST A GOOD TIME WITH NO COMPLICATIONS, NO MATTER WHAT HE SAYS. HE IS JUST TELLING YOU WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR SO YOU WILL CONTINUE TO GIVE HIM THE ASS!

What did she say that was wrong? She said that she would leave her husband ( to be with him) why wont he leave his wife. So SHE has a HUSBAND and HE has a HER( wife)

Not to be too obvious, but if the "boyfriend" would cheat on his wife with you, what makes you think he wouldn't do the same thing to you later on when *you* get boring?

Sure a girl can dream, if she's a stupid hosebag. Or she can realize that she's being a stupid hosebag, cut loose from this cheating jerk and start over with a good man. Oh, but he "makes you feel good" and you "love him so much". Please...

yea. you were an extra piece of ass. sorry for your luck. But then again its your own fault if you knew he was married. Why would you expect him to leave her and be faithful with you if hes already doing 1 wife wrong?

Sex is a big part of relationship. Some ladies swallow some dont; some folks like back door some dont; some like toys some dont; some like fantasy some dont; some like bondage some dont--there are lots of preferences If you are providing what he can't get at home, then maybe he will leave her. But if he gets at home what you provide then the attraction is variety (strange) and you just ain't that special--just different

If I could leave my husband then he could leave his wife. I love him I've told him how much so I told him how I could make him and his kids happy. He's told me I'm beautiful that he misses me that I make him happy and treat him so nice. He should be mine- he will be one day.

OK...WHY NOT ME...If he loved you so much, he wouldnt be going home to another woman and he wouldnt want you going home to another man! Ive been in your situation twice before and it all ends up the same way.....YOU ARE A SIDELINE HO and thats it...you matter to him, im sure..but not enough for him to leave his family..if so, he would have already left. When this is all said and done you are going to look back and ask yourself why you waisted so much time on this..he is a blessing blocker for you. Nothing good is ever going to come to you when you do wrong. You are committing the ultimate sin. Im not a holy roller by no means, im just speaking from experience. If you love your husband at all and you are not happy..love him enough to let him go and be happy with someone else...he deserves that chance and so do you for that matter....

Oh, and by the way..Once a cheater, always a cheater. If both of you left your respective spouses, your newfound relationship would NEVER have enough trust in it to last..Without honesty and trust a relationship cannot survive!!

You are taking the Tarzan approach swinging from one vine to the next but not releasing the vine you are on until you have a grip on the next.
Since you are so unhappy with your husband, leave him now. Then see what happens. If this stud is so in love with you he will jump at the chance now that you are free. If you don't want to risk it then you have your answer.
In any event why are you staying with your husband?? Screwing someone you don't like or love for security (payment) just makes you a prostitute.
