If any of you saw his obituary in the paper today, I thought I would let everyone know that (Jerry) as he was referred to in the paper today is his stepfather. He has spent every minute by his wife's side during her battle with cancer. Over the past ten years he has provided the funds necessary to prolong Tom's life. Had it not been for the love he had for his wife and his understanding of her love for her son, I am sure Tom's life would have ended much sooner. Tom felt it necessary to thank Jerry for his help during the last years of his life and for taking care of his mother. He appreciated the fact that his mother and stepfather never judged him. Although this is a tragic and sad situation, if Tom's mother was able to speak her mind, she would be crushed that her marriage of 38+ years had been reduced to Jerry in parentheses.

Just trying to understand why he'd end his life when his family needed him..god bless his family..

Bubby loved his mother, she was/is his best friend. Receiving the news that she had less than two weeks to live was more than he could take. Someone wrote on FB that he was a 'sweet soul', & I think that sums him up nicely. Jerry is an amazing, wonderful, kind, generous man & my heart is with him as I cannot wrap my mind around what hes going thru. People like Jerry are few & far between, and I am so thankful Glenda & Bubby have him. May God be with him during the following months. As far as the drug/mental problems question, I will not justify that with an answer bc it is irrelavent.
