I am a CNA currently working in a nursing home in glasgow. I was wondering if anyone knows how much CNA's make at the medical center and at the medical center @ scottsville? Thanks so much.

I was curious on how much they pay too. I was thinking about applying for the CNA classes the next time they offer them. Also how much do they pay if you have experience in medical field?

Did you take the classes there? Do they have good benefits?

I am at the mc get benifits and make well over $11 dollars an hour but been working here over 5yrs. I did take the class and was paid $7.?? It was weell worth it. Nursing homes seem to pay less, long hrs, over worked, and many other problems with co workers. If you work night shift you get $1.25 more.

It depends on how long you have been there and how much experience you have.

Being a CNA at the MC is so much easier than any other facility in BG. They start out at 9-10 an hour plus whatever shift differential. The new hire/CNA training program is hard to get into. About 1 in 4 who apply get in. There is a shortage of CNAs now, and lots of times nurses are working in that capacity. Good luck if u apply.

Probably the same way you get hired at any job...fill out an application or send your resume.
