First off,it's a miscarriage pill. It is the same outcome. There is no procedure to the pill. And also you have to be within a few weeks of being pregnant.

I am one of those who had fears to the max using the abortion pill. I looked all over the Internet for advice and just common information from people who have used it. I was given 2 pills to take orally and that was it. I know some had been prescribed 4 pills that were either inserted into the vagina or orally disolved. I read horror stories about houw much blood people lost an how much pain they were in but I can assure you, I felt nothing. I was honestly scared that it didn't work! I took my 2 pills. Day one, nothing. Day two, light spotting. Day three, no bleeding at all. I was scared that the pills didn't do what they were meant to do. Most stories I've read claim they saw the embryo because of heavy bleeding. By day 4, I got my period. It was lighter than any period I've ever had. Mine are usually regular not heavy. After day six, I wasn't sure if it was over or not. I felt a slight pressure on my bladder and just assumed I had to go number 1. As I was doing my business in a public restroom, I felt something come out and drop in the toilet. I wasn't sure what it was because I couldn't see it but I'm thinking that it was the final step. After that, my period stopped. I never experienced any painful cramps or heavy bleeding. Just a normal period. 6 weeks later I had an ultrasound done and everything was fine. I can't say everyone will have the same experience but I can say it was less traumatic than any surgical abortion. Before you leave any hate comments, my boyfriend and I were using protection and I was using birth control. We didn't plan for this to happen and we knew right away this was the best decision. You can never predict what life does to you but I'm glad there are easier ways to handle this tough matter. Just like every other woman reading these comments, I was there and I was not happy about the choice I had to make. But then again it's not like you are going to raise all those children in foster care. Before you open your mouths, think about it. Good luck to all of you. I hope my story gives you a little peace of mind.

I'm all for a woman's right to chose, and am not against abortion, but if you have sex with no condom find yourself pregnant it is not inconceivable you will get pregnant. Anyhows don't listen to people saying your killing a baby it's your decision to make no one else's.
I regret not having the baby. It has almost been 10 years. That aside the pill does put you into labor. You get 2 sets of pills and some pain killers. You bleed like you are dying for 2-3 days. If you need to talk ask for my email. I will not judge you. Whatever happens good luck.
I just got pregnant while on birth control (the antibiotics I was on apparently messed with them) and I just had a baby 5 months ago via c-section. I had a couple of pre-eclampsia scares while pregnant because my blood pressure was through the roof. The delivery went well though and she is a healthy 5 month old. I have been PRO-LIFE all of my life, but I am now at a crossroads where I know I can only take one direction. My husband and I don't have the financial means to bring another child into the world, I would lose the respect of my parents who do help us out a lot, and my health would be at stake (mine and the baby's). Having just had a c-section 5 months ago, having high blood pressure and also have ovarian cysts. Those things and another pregnancy are not a good mix. Even though I've been pro-life forever, now that I'm in this situation it really frustrates me to see people on here judging people so harshly. Not everyone who considers abortion are just slutty young irresponsible girls. I have a multitude of reasons why it would be better not to bring the child into the world. If I did, my 5 month old daughter would get cheated out of our attention during her first couple of years of life which are the most important, mommy's health might be in danger (my blood pressure got so out of control before that I almost had a stroke)... so what happens if I carry this pregnancy to full term and end up disabled and unable to take care of either child? And even if that doesn't happen, if I choose to bring this child into the world, we all might end up homeless. No lie. Why would God want you to make your child and family suffer for irresponsible bringing a child into the world when you know it's a terrible time to do so? Every situation is different.

I would like to hear from people who have actually gone through this - not people who just want to judge.

Oh my goodness. Some of the stuff on here is just crazy. Why is abortion such a big issue when a "baby" isnt consideres viable until somewhere around 23 weeks. I cant remember exactly bur my point is if you deliver a baby in a hospital before then, doctors DO NOT have to treat it or try to save it. Matter of fact they probably wouldnt bother wasting time on a baby who has less than a 1% chance of surviving. Point made thank you. I know this because my daughter was born just over the threshold, if you want to call it that. So bashing a woman for asking about an abortion is kinda pointless. Waste of time. We as woman have a right to do with our bodies what we want. You wouldnt like if someone told you what to do, would you? Regardless of what it is. I wish more women would choose this route because im tired of seeing all the rugrats running around with nothing to eat or wear cuz mommy didnt want them to begin with.

Oh and ive had two prior abortions via D&C. If i would of had the babies, i dont even want to go there. It was my choice and i am greatful that i had a choice. Adoption is not an option in my book because there is enough children in foster care waiting for a happy ending and sadly most dont get that, they age out and are left on the streets to fend for themselves.

I got pregnant while on birth control. Sometimes it's more complicated than just killing your unborn baby. If I had this baby, I would risk having pre-eclampsia and possibly a ruptured caesarean scar that hasn't even had time to heal yet. It's not my fault no one told me that antibiotics interfere with birth control. I'm thinking of my health AND of the child I already have. She would only be just over a year old when this child is born if I were to go through with the pregnancy. Would that be fair to her? Not at all. And it wouldn't be fair to the new baby either when we don't have the money to buy diapers and formula for two kids instead of just one.

If it has to do with your health and your life I said I understand!!!
As far as diapers you could use cloth until things got better and formula I see people getting that free all the time.
But your life is another subject
So sorry about you not knowing about antib. Please read all side effects when you get any pills filled cause it says it on there.
Praying for you!!!!

A woman should be able to do whatever she wants with her body, after all it is her body.
The cells rapidly multiplying forming a fetus aka a baby are not a woman's body. They are in her body but make no mistake it is NOT her body. It comes from her body?Yes! In her body? Yes, but not long! So does it make it okay to chose to end the life of your child at any point in their life after all they came from you. But they are grown some will say, so would the fetus you terminated!
The comment about 20 weeks or under has a 1% chance to live because they can't make it so its bit a baby! Seriously? Sickening the baby has everything but a fully developed body that a 40
week baby has such as a beating heart, a developing brain and a nervous system to list a few things.
A toddler left alone has no chance of survival either!!! But it is illegal to just chop them up and vacuum them up.
I guess because the "fetus" doesn't have a name or a fully developed warm new body with rosy red cheeks and big needy eyes looking at you its okay to dismiss them.
There is clearly a difference between chosing to end the life of a fetus and newborn baby though right? Oh no no there isn't neither could survive on their own.
You want to end the life inside you okay that's your business not mine just respect the fact a single cell is LIFE and when you see a newborn remember a couple more month and that's what the fetus you threw away would've been a living breathing person and every year after you will see a child the age yours would've been and think what if! So if you can't deal with that reality you are going to have mental problems that will eat you alive and after the stopping of the fetuses heart you will call it your baby

Oh and I am not by any means a bible hugging Christian. I believe in life and death. Not in heaven and hell. I don't believe a devil will consume your body while your fetus is being held by Jesus. I believe you will end a life and you will regret it, maybe not a first but one day it will click in your head and it can torment you. If you want chose adoption but are afraid of the child's upbringing chose one where you get updates and pictures you have that choice of how involved you will or won't be in its life.
Oh my brother and I are 16 months apart and my mom had a c section with me because she had toxemia poison and I was 36 weeks. We are all doing great 24 years later and my brother is my bestfriend and I'm grateful we are so close even if it did take my me time away.
On a real matter of life and death for the pregnant woman okay suck the baby out your life is clearly more important.....
In rape cases well that's just going to require a lot of therapy either way

No it's not better!!!! How bout next time use a condom they are given away free everyday at the local health department and not only does that stop you from having that inconvenient baby or having to dispose of the baby, it also protects against stds which aren't going away with a single procedure or pill! Get on the pill, shot, ring,IUD take the morning after pill have him pull out!!!! Those are a lot better than the abortion pill. Question answered: No it's not better
Even if you do have a abortion at least learn from it
