DO NOT shop here. One- Ashley DOES NOT own Bargain City. They do sell some Ashley products, although not all, and no it is not returns or discontinued, they do order all their Ashley furniture from the same place Ashley does. that place is horrible. The furniture is anywhere from good/ decent to crappy quality depending what it is, but they mark everything up to like a 50-60% margin then discount it so it looks like youre getting a huge discount when really youre not at all. The sales people are trained to be pushy and sell anything the customer will buy just to make money. Half the time stuff does not get ordered on time or at all, so you will wait months for your furniture to come in if it ever does. Very rarely does it though, They will sell stuff off the floor without telling the customer and half the time its damaged. The store has no real management, and the "manager" does not give a crap about the store or the customers and will lie to customers rather than deal with them professionally and make promises he cannot keep to make them "happy" No one in that store has a clue what they are doing which is why every good employee left and theyve been left to hire new ones who also dont know what theyre doing. They pretty much "wing it" so to speak on a daily basis. If you think youre getting a good deal youre not, and you will have problems if you buy from here trust me. just go somewhere else and get youre furniture. Even if you have to pay a little more, it will be worth it! TRUST ME!!!*To those few of you who said you had no problems, you got very lucky, be thankful!

PLEASE don't. take it from someone who worked there and knows, its not worth it. I left bc too many customers werent getting their stuff or were waiting months for it, and they will NOT give you the "good deal" they say they are.. they just mark t up to mark it back down and seem like its a discount, its not. go somewhere else, or you will regret it trust me

I heard they are under new management, my experience was great, bought last week and had a call today to schedule delivery.

Again, great experience for me. I had some concerns and asked the sales person about this. They are new and had a hard time with some of the furniture manufacturers, they have everything electronic now. I bought last week and I'm getting my stuff tomorrow, it was way cheaper than Ashely.

This guy who owns this store...also owns the Ashley
store in Lexington Ky ABOUT 2005 he owned the Bowling Green store
and Ashleys made him sell the store..If you want a good dealer go to Asleys here in BG they are a professionally run store.
The mgr. here at Bargain City has a real drinking situation going on! They won't be around long here!
