Slim was a good guy, he looked out for everyone, thats why he wanted the skate park, it wasn't the best idea, but he thought there was such a demand for the skate park and it would attract good kids that he wanted it for the community. It was a failure, but his heart was in the right place, he was just trying to give them a place to go instead of sell drugs.

Yes, an almost $1 million dollar failure. I don't know if you're in Owensboro as your ID seems to suggest, but regardless, I can't think of any town that wants to spend that amount of money only to find out it was a failure. Not only a failure from an economic point of view, but a failure that now has to be maintained and continues to be a liability and one of the best places to find illegal drugs.

Someone must have like him, he almost for re elected. The skate park is not the only liability, what about the aquatic center, perverts taking pictures of children and grown men caught masturbating at that place that was supported by all city officials.

Don't worry. I'll get rid of the skate park and build me a private massage parlor. It's stressful living off other people's money.

Who will save us from second hand smoke and fireworks. BG is going to be a scary place without SLIM around to protect us all from ourselves. Guess people got tired of fat head telling everyone how to live their lives.

I didn't realize the skate park was such a failure. Almost every time I drive by there it's busy. One of these days I'm going to stop by and watch them. I think it's a neat thing to have.

My son went there and his skate board got stolen. I think Rick Wiiliams did it.

I go by there everyday except Sunday. The only time I have seen a crowd is on a nice weather Saturday. It is a special interest park built at an 800,000 price for just a small fraction of percentage of the population.

All so Slim could feel good.
