Pay no mind to CF, Cindy. She's full of bigoted prejudice.

Cindy, pay no attention to Patrick. She has obviously never been to Morgantown and seen the nasty obese natives. Drive around the county if you go. Trash. Pure trash.

The calling of derogatory names means you are not intelligent enough to argue. It usually means you are losing it as well,

Sterotyping shows lack of education and experience. Obviously Courtesy Flush has never been out of the state or country. Every where you travel there are areas and people who will not live up to your high standards and your class. Those people probably enjoy life and don't judge others.

Take a trip to Butler County and spend the day there and tell me I'm wrong. Keep a straight face if you can. The place is a dumpster for white trash. It's hard to tell where the trailer park ends and the county dump begins.

I work in Bowling Green but live in Edmonson County and work with many people from Butler county. And guess what we work every day, dress nice, own our vehicles, own our nice houses, are clean, have our teeth, and wear shoes. Again..stereotyping..because of a few..you state the place is a dumpster and everyone is like that in a county. Ever been to Arizona, New York state, Ohio, Kansas, South Dakota? Same everywhere.

Ok. The op asked about the catfish festival and yet not one comment answering what she asked. I've never been either and was wondering the same.

The CF is great if you like being surrounded by people who look like they jumped from the pages of peopleofwalmart.com

Go to Dr Wan's office and look at the waiting room. I have never seen anything as sad as that gaggle of filthy humans anywhere else in the country except in other parts of Kentucky.

Same everywhere? Not even.

Same everywhere? Not even. Go to Dr Wan's office and look at the people in the waiting room. If you can get past the skanks who sit in front of the entrance smoking cigarettes that cost more than the rags they are wearing. What you'll see in the waiting room is a rarity anywhere else but it's business as usual in BC.

I have been fortunate enough to travel across the country both for work and for leisure. Part of my work was assisting in the rural areas in different states. Some of those places made Butler County and Dr, Wan's office look like paradise. Seriously do you think those Walmart videos are only of Butler County people? Try reaching outside your safe zone...really some of the most generous, caring, grateful people I have ever met. On the other side, some of the high class people who stick their nose up in the air, discreetly sleep with their boss, cheat on their income taxes, and judge others have Mom and Dad paying most their bills to support their lifestyle, I see right through their glass house. I've always said some of the dirtiest jobs..we better hope they keep going..for instance the true trash man. And also the Catfish Festival has been around for years, it is one of the big money makers for this small town and hundreds go...including several that I work with.

I have been there once. Its was cool. Safe enough to let older kids to run around and let them ride rides by themselves.

The Catfish Festival has lots of fair-type booths, concessions, a heck of a good fish fry, and a carnival. It isn't a huge spread, but can still be a lot of fun. Not sure when the fireworks will be this year, but they have had some of the best fireworks shows in the area in the past. Whatever you decide, hope you have a happy 4th!
