They are good, know what they are doing. Usually slammed with work since they are only ones who can do what they do. Fair prices. I have used them several times for a VW.

My grandfather and mother work there. They are busy a lot but they provide great service and really care about your cars. If they abt help they aren't the type to trick you into paying for a bunch of stuff that won't help, they'll refer you to someone else.

They're competitive in their pricing, but they don't have to be. There's no a lot of competition for competent European auto repair outside of dealer work, and even then a lot of the dealerships are in Nashville, Louisville, etc.

What worries me is going there and seeing some of the customer cars that have LITERALLY been sitting there for YEARS. I assume those are special cases where the owners either haven't paid or haven't come back for their rides...for whatever reason.

The cars that sit there are cars that were bought or are used as parts cars. They aren't customer's cars.

YES some of those ARE customer cars. They sit for months/years and the garage never seems to get them fixed.

BG Imports is a joke. Now there us a place that will break your wallet and not get the problem
Fixed. I have taken all my cars to Plum Springs (Volvo, BMW, Nissan and even a Chevy). When i get the vehicle back it is running great. My bmw has over 325,000 miles on it. I thank Mr. Hayes, Jerry, and Patrick for that. They have serviced it for the past 15 years.

many years ago, late 90's early 2000's.....I would take my import there due to a check engine light, would get it back and literally within a week, the light was on again... I paid for this 3 or 4 times before I quit taking the car there, I am a woman and was in my early 20's then. Felt like the negative post was taken off and reset...just seems like if the same thing kept happening what they were fixing didn't do it and should have not charged for the same repair literally every week and found out what WAS causing the problem if that were the case.....things may be different now, but I sold that car and never took my business there again. I know others have rave reviews and I had heard great reviews as well, why I went there.....I ended up just trading the car in(for what was probably and O2 sensor) and never went there again with any of my other Honda's or VW's since.

Idiot ^^^
They do STELLAR work on imports, never taken a US car there though. BG Imports does good to keep the same name for a year, get over yourself. Don't dog a mom and pop business when they are doing very credible work!

MR Hayes has died. Jerry who has been there for years will be taking the business over. He and his wife are taking care of the business. Mr. Hayes was a wonderful man, an honest business man, and a good person. He was an organ donor trying to help people at the time of his death. My heart goes out to his family.

Plum springs is an incorporated town. Consider it a suburb of BG
