I graduated from central about 5yrs ago. I didn't like my experience there, it's very diverse which can be a good thing but being white was a minority. I felt pressured to grow up to fast I think it's not a healthy learning environment. There was constantly fights breaking out, vulgar language, and no respect for teachers or authority. I just wouldn't send my child there unless you have a tough, strong minded, mature child on your hands. Best of luck

Really high school is what you make of it. You decide weither you have a good experience or not. I graduated in 2008 I wasn't popular or anything but I was involved in a few clubs and didn't give a crap what people thought about me and it was an amazing experience. Yes I got into fights with friends and had a few relationships and heartaches in school but it was amazing if you surround your swlf with great people and not listen to gossip anyone would he fine

My question would be why did "just sayin" go to 3 high schools in Warren County? Maybe he/she couldn't follow rules at WC. Most students and teachers I know that go and work there love Central. No, it's not perfect, but still a great place. Check and see what Warren County school had the most Governor's Scholars this time.

Obviously you open your mouth about stuff that you know nothing about! I never got in trouble in high school!!! I never even went to the principles office once!! I moved schools because we moved! And if you had any common sense you would know if your not in that school district you have to go to a different school! So hush up about stuff you know nothing about. Just because you switch schools does not mean your automatically a bad kid & couldn't follow rules! Warren central was nothing but blacks and Bosnians starting fights and drama! That school is nothing but crime and violence! And your the outcast if your white! And also if your NOT white you did what you wanted and said what you wanted to anyone you wanted with no consequences! Warren central is the worst school ever. And I would NEVER recommended it to anyone!

If you're racist like some of the people are on here and you would like your daughter to go to a lily white school, then by all means send her to Greenwood or South Warren. Warren Central (and Bowling Green in the city) are very diverse schools.

Every single high school in this area is very good, don't let anyone else tell you differently. Every single school presents its own unique challenges, as any school does. I went to Warren Central, and I hope it is apparent that I turned out just fine. Great administration, great teachers. Just like all the schools in the area.

My family grew up going to central. And would swear to you they loved it. And I am by no means racist. But if you had any clue how it is NOW you would not recommend it to anyone. Usually, if your not black, the black kids want nothing to do with you. And if your not Bosnian, the Bosnians want nothing to do with you! Some of the kids are nice. But the overall average of them stick with each other and it's nothing but fights and drama EVERYDAY!

If they want nothing to do with you and stick to themselves, then how does one get into fights and experience drama?

I do not walk the halls of Warren Central during a school day any more (Class of '02) but that does not mean that I am unfamiliar with the makeup of the school now. I do a lot of work with the athletic programs of that school and the other county schools, so I have a pretty good idea of the character of those kids. Unless you're trying to tell me that those are absolutely the only good ones at those schools, I think they're just fine.

"Just Sayin", sorry I judged you wrong and sorry you had such a bad experience. My son goes there now and loves it, and he is a white kid. He gets along with the Bosnians, black kids, everybody. Likes his teachers, is challenged in AP classes and is involved in athletics and clubs. He wouldn't dream of being anything but a Dragon, I guess to each his own.

I know that the school in the county with the largest diversity, free and reduced lunch, and kids living in poverty will probably have the most challenges, but give them a break. Most of the students achieve and the teachers try to make a difference.

I know and have known very good people to work at Central.(Just sayin), maybe you did not fit in well at Central because you would not accept peers for being humans, rather, you chose to make decisions based on the color of skin. I will not address you anymore, but when you get a little older you will learn to work with all different types of people with multiple abilities and talents, you could have learned a very valuable lesson from your classmates.

Interesting someone mention Governor Scholars. Great accomplishment.

To answer your question ma'am. Talk to school people and see what they have to offer. I don't think you wil be disappointed..
