New resturants

Well we all hear everyday about a different one coming to town.
This is the latest I have heard. Taco Cabana - corner of wise and Mill (where they are clearing the houses off the corner).
BeBe's Chicken (could be mis-spelled) going into Heards downtown.
I Have also heard of these - but no locations.
Applebee's, Jack-in-the-Box, Chili's, Cracker Barrel just to name a few.
SO, Does anyone Have any real info?

Corner of Mill & Wise will be a Taco Place of some kind, what I heard was Fuzzys Taco's, like what is going in on the square in Decatur. Being opened up by Tom Bates son & daughter in law. Would LOVE a Cracker Barrel to come in someplace. We need a family restaurant that offers a variety of food. Something other than Mexican. Where they are tearing down the old Quickway a new Super Allsups is going in, going to be like a Stripes. I more "high end" Allsups.

Fuzzy's or Taco cabana - either is good on that corner. I agree about a family place. Cracker or Applebee's would be good - both would be better.

Fuzzy's taco is not coming to Bowie. Charles Bush from Jacksboro is part owner of the Fuzzy's name and they have to go in and approve everything from location to new owners before one is built and they have not done that for any place in Bowie.

Someone in the know told me that that the Mill / Wise corner would be a "fast food - Mexican" but no name brand. The owner worked for "Taco Casa" but does not want to pay for the franchise or follow thier rules. Can't say I blame him. So, Taco's, burrito's - drive thru is in our future. Hopefully, he will be an on-site owner. Seems many fast food places have problems with getting the "right" help.

Seems it not just fast food plc's, the dry cleaners can't keep help either! Go figure!

I saw that sign at Bowie cleaners. We are full right now but you never know when that will change. It is the same at WalMart, Brookshires, every oilfield company, and just about every other business out there.
There are those who want to work. And then there those who want to sit on a couch.
But this is suppose about new resturants isn't it.
Sweet boys might as well leave the help wanted sign up 7 days a week. There are places in town that are hiring people who want to work everyday. Dos just went thru hiring a bunch of new people, Pizza hut, Chicken X's, etc etc.

I <3 my couch, I <3 that I DON'T HAVE TO WORK, I love being a stay at home mom who gets to raise my children, if you don't think that's work then your a very naive man! Now go play with you blow up doll, since that's the only woman who can stand you for more then 5 minutes:)

Chamber of Commerce just confirmed "Taco Shack", a local, not a Chain, is moving in there.

That's cool, hope they do good. But I do wish they'd do something different...burgers, tacos and chicken are great...but sure hope someday, they do some seafood or something else.

It's going to be interesting to see what they do with the traffic there.
