Let us begin with some factual information that will give my words the desired weight to support my comment. Doug did graduate from Prairie Valley ISD in 1997. He transferred from Nocona ISD to Prairie Valley ISD in 1990 along with Jason Bilyeu, Nick Mesler, and Chris Storey. Now at the time it was rumored that the exodus from Nocona ISD was due to some inappropriate behavior on the part of an Ag teacher at Nocona ISD. But like I said these were just rumors. Out of the four boys that transferred that year Doug and Chris were the only ones that remained at Prairie Valley ISD until graduation in 1997. That being said, allow me a moment to make one thing very clear. Doug is not the first nor will he be the last person from this sleepy little hick ass community to be allegedly involved in crimes of a sexual nature. No, the fact is that someplace along the line the entire ability of the social community to provide a positive and beneficial influence to the youth you so adamantly claim to support and nurture fell apart. Doug is just the latest in a line of predictable outcomes from such an environment. Let us not forget about the then president of the First National Bank Mr. Howard and the allegation that arose about him and what it was rumored he did to young boys that helped out on his place. Or what about the torture by the Combs, forcing young boys to eat raw rocky mountain oysters after cutting them off the animal. What about the alleged groups of swingers among your so called upper class. Inbreeders the lot of you. This is not all of such events that you conveniently sweep under the carpet, this is just the surface. That being said Doug has a mother and a young daughter. They may not so much be a part of your community now, but their lives have been irreversibly changed due to the lack of a moral compass your community failed to empress upon a developing mind. Let us take the story at face value. Doug was involved with this woman on some level. This is a woman that advertised her product on the internet in Las Vegas Nevada, Sin City. She also agreed to have sex with Doug for money. This much she admits too. After this however I believe we should leave it up to the justice department to determine his guilt or innocence. Afterwards she admits to having a semi-informal relationship with Doug. So ask yourselves, what are the possibilities? The first is that Doug did just what the woman said he did. He said he was a police officer, and then proceeded to abuse her sexually. The second is that during the course of their relationship the wires got crossed and she decided to put the screws to olí Doug. Either way far be it from you people to even start to judge this man.

Personally, I did not read anything in the previous posts that sounded to me like Doug was being judged. However, I did read quite a bit in your post that sounded like you were being very judgmental of this community and the people in it.

As I recall, there were a great many good kids who graduated from NISD in 1997 so there must have been an awful lot of good in the people and the community during that time. If Doug did not benefit from the opportunities of that time period, I am truly sorry for him. However, the majority of kids did benefit; therefore, I would say that the community and its' people were not as you described in your post.

Sometimes, you just have to lay the blame for mistakes at the feet of those who make them, and sometimes, that includes their parents as well. There were far more good kids during that time period for it to have been otherwise.

It's a sure bet it wouldn't have happened had he not been out on parole! Some people just don't learn!
Lying Con Artist

Las Vegas, NV

Upon another arrest in Las Vegas, Doug was found working under the alias, Brian Couture. Doug lied his way into the job, making up work experience, as well as claiming to be ex military. He had been involved in relationships outside of his marriage, telling women he was single and leading them on. He was arrested with multiple ID's on him, Mark Giani as well, and refused to admit to being Douglas Brian Irvin Jr. This guy is a con artist, and clearly gets off on manipulating women. Willing to bet the long winded post above is written by Doug himself. Just like his IMDb profile. Speaking of which, being a blurry figure in the background of a movie, doesn't qualify you as an actor. Sick freaking creep. Don't ever feel bad for this guy. Make a mistake and learn from it... Great. But he only skill set he uses is lying and cheating. Beware! Your days in Vegas are over. We're all onto you!

Doug and I were best friends all through out elementary school and for a while after he transferred to PV. We were the 1997 graduating class. We were all pretty good kids I thought with the occasional mischievous kicks but nothing too hard core. Chris storey, Jason bilyou, nick messler, lee frost, Kelly lipscomb, Ben waters, zach kabisch, Greg talley, victor abendano, james grandfeild, Robby norman...the list goes on. On the weekends, Doug was either at my house or I was at his. He was just a typical boy just like the rest of us. Respected his parents and authority like the rest of us. Eventually we all drifted apart and went our seperate ways. We all choose our own paths and make our own decisions in life. I hope for Doug's sake that he seeks out and accepts the help he needs and finds a better path. He was a good person then, there's no reason why he can't be a good person now.

Well, you pretty much named that entire clique including a couple of people who were just clique "want-to-be's". There is also one name that is very obviously missing from that clique list which makes me wonder why you left him out, as you said, "the list goes on". I really don't agree with using people's names without their written permission. Let us not forget that there was an actual crime committed involving an individual or individuals from this class as I can't remember if the major offender was in this class or another class. Overall, the vast majority of kids from this class were really good kids with good homes and good community support in addition to some really good teachers at their local school who really motivated them and pointed them in the right direction. One of those "good" teachers who comes to mind is still there at NHS as he returned after and absence of a few years, and I for one think that individual is a real asset to the students both then and now.

I agree with the individual who said that sometimes you simply have to lay the blame on the person who strays, but I also agree with the statement that refers to an individual being able to change for the better.

All of the best to you and the class of '97.

I personally don't recall any major crime or what name you are referring to as to the "one" I left out. Yes, we had an some really great teachers unlike some I see today that just seem like they run the kids through a cattle chute to get them out. But as for us, like I said we were all just typical kids. We all made our own paths, some good and some not so good. As far as Doug goes, would you have known about his incidents if he were not in the Hollywood spotlight? My guess is probably not. Anyway I wish the best for Doug and the rest of my old classmates, may god be with them and guide them on their path of life.

Ok, lets get this right, at least according to the ABC news brief. Dougie established the fact that this woman was posing as a masseuse and prostituting herself for money, at which point he reversed the game and shined his shoes for free. I applaud him. He is liable for theft of services at the worst. She is the one that should be prosecuted for asking 10k for a happy ending. She got what she deserved and would have been better off to just wipe her chin and go home.

He was arrested for impersonating a cop and forcing a woman to have sex with him. You applaud that? There are multiple media documents that explain what happened, if you bothered to look. This wasn't his first time pulling a con. He was on parole because it! But I'm sure you'll defend that too.

Nothing is being said about the son he had and sold for over 100,000.00 back child support. Oh I forgot the many calls from girls that told me that they had been with this Jerk and the stories he told. From being a doctor to motorcycle racer. The money he used them for. How his mom stood her identity there in Vegas. How he told her where he was living at this house and he would never let her come in the house he said his mom was a bad house keeper, he would alway wait outside when she would pick him up, when really the house was empty and up for sell. So tell me this is all from the town he was raised, I to was raised in a smaller town and I sure don't take people for this shit. Doug Irvin is nothing but a low life piece of shit and he'll get his end. He has to answer to the big guy up stairs
