New Canon Chief

The new Canon Police Chief is cleaning up the town, and I for one could not be happier. Good job Chief keep it up.

It's one thing to clean up a town but another when he violate's people's right's just to try to make a name for himself...he's got one now...

that's true our right's have been violated, he's a sneaky person, he bullies everone around and scare's them into doing thing's they dont have to...

Please, I don't think so. The new Chief comes from a well established Drug task force and I for one think thats just what Canon needs. For too long Canon has only been known for alcohol and drugs and as far as I see he is taking care of both of those problems. His past speaks volumes for him. He has a reputation for getting the job done. Go ahead and complain while he raises the property values in the area for running out the drugs and drunk drivers. I think those who would write remarks like these are the very element he wants to "thankfully" rid Canon of.

At what point dose any story say he violated anyones rights. I say if those using drugs are dumb enough to let him in and then say he can look around. They need to be in jail. This is a common practice of any Drug task force, why anyone who say differant "is crazy."

I would be willing to bet the people complaining are the ones who have been caught with drugs or for DUI. It's a sad day and time when someone is bashed for trying to do the right thing. Would you rather he let drug users/sellers go free and let drunk drivers have the freedom of the open road??? Get real!!! What happens when one of these people tries to sell drugs to your kids or kills one of your family member in an accident??

"His past speaks volumes for him", you say? Well maybe you should actually look into his past and stop pretending you know him. This "Chief" of Police has been on the other side of the law more than once. Several bench warrants have been issued out on him due to negligence of paying child support. How can you expect this "Man" to be "The Man" when he can't even step up and take care of his own responsibilities? Sounds to me that "Chief" Carney is just another Dead-Beat Father... but with a badge.

Wow and here I was thinking we were talking about a man and his actions to help our city. Who would have known that we could pull stuff right out of thin air. Hummmm, what to do? Oh I know I'll check the open records, and well... I don't see any mention of any warrant at all. Oh wait thats because there never was one and never has been. "Dead beat father" I think I can recall seeing his children during in the X-mas season in his car throwing out candy to all the local kids. They seemed to like him. Or maybe its been one of the countless times his had his children in our local park. If thats a dead beat dad then I wish I had one like him growing up. The truth is this is yet again someones attempt to begin lies and untruths to make themselfs feel better. On that note, I think you could only wish to be as good a father as he is to his children.
