The USA did, when us Americans made choices of price over quality, when us Americans demanded higher wages, when us Americans were OK being dependent on foreign made goods. It's a simple economic model, compete, or get out. When's the last time you walked into a car dealer and demanded an American made car - 100% American made?

So who benefits? Clearly the shareholders, and Donald Duda. Once again american workers are thrown under the bus under the auspices of "free trade".

Why should I pay someone here to do a job that someone, somewhere else will do for a whole lot cheaper? Americans do not value education, they have nothing to offer.

Eric, when quality of life is defined by $ signs and decimal points, we all lose. When the day comes that your decimal point moves to the left, maybe you will understand

It's attitude like your's that has caused the dollar to sink to all time lows against foreign currency. When it reaches the point that you can no longer afford to buy the STUFF (made in China/India) you WANT you'll care.

In an election year we need to speak up and demand that our children are invested in! That is the only way to prevent loss of jobs like this...educate them.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Pisces

Someone is extremely headstrong and defiant today, and there's every chance that you're the one fitting this description. The more others are trying to make you behave yourself or do what they want, the more determined you'll be to do the exact opposite. Well, it is a Full Moon, and a lunar eclipse in emotional Cancer, so you're excused! Show them that you're an individual in your own right without going completely overboard about it, because that will cause trouble. Then once you've got all that off your chest you can relax and look forward to a really Happy New Year!
