Sauk Village

A proper memorial for Veterans has been dedicated! After 50 years, the Village finally has an appropriate memorial dedicated to all Veterans.

So many who have served in the armed services who have served the Village- Mayor Roger Theisen, Former Trustees Robert Warner, Richard "Dick" Derosier, Dick Startz, Thomas Busch, John Dennis and even current Trustee Jim Schultz himself a Vietnam Veteran and Amon Darnell the list goes on of the many people who have served on the Village Board and who have volunteered but those are just a few.

It is very nice to see such a good thing for Sauk Village, too bad it took only 1/2 a century to get done- better late then never!
