Why weren't kids arrested also for this assault ? They should all be in juvenile hall if they committed this terrible crime.

Those poor children who were following the adult bus drivers orders have been screwed too. We teach the kids to listen to adults, how many of them understood what they were doing was also wrong? They need to be taught to stand up for what is right, but we all know how that is when you are ten. I do not understand why this is not being treated as a hate crime? Why did it take a full week after it happened before it was news? Who was trying to kweep it quiet? Have the children had any kind of therapy at school?

If I were that child's parent, there would be a bus driver in the city morgue right now.

I can't even express how outrageous this is.

picking on a child for personal personality foreplay should have much less severe outcomes.

the bus driver should be more wise in the selection of who they choose to talk to.

being called 'gay' was probably not even used in the correct context.
it would be the most popular child on the bus who is most likely to be 'gay' and so happy that he/she would make a mistake based on a manic state of happiness.

chances are, if the child is that popular, you can safely interact and expect some conversation.

choosing the quiet kid and taunting him/her is immature, and it is astonishing coming from someone old enough to drive the school bus.

if your child is dealing conversation to more than half the bus (also known as being popular) then the bus driver should have had little trouble taunting the child, and may have even received a giggle in response to the taunt (stating that the popular kid could talk his way through being taunted rather than let hateful emotions build up)

many people have spoken their feelings without knowing the personality of the child.
(obviously, if the child was attacked he/she was the quiet type and if he/she would have been the popular one, the attack would be cheerful patts on the butt by peers/teamates.)

Did you even read the article, and even if you did what you suggest is nonsense as there is no time a bus driver should taunt any child under his/her care, and that's what a child is when riding that driver's bus.

Correct context, are you kidding me. The bus driver was taunting this child because he thought the kid was gay and he felt he could do so. Gay as in homosexual, one hardly uses the word gay as in cheerful, bright and funny anymore.

The personality of the child has nothing to do with the driver having no right to endanger that boy's life and it's clear that this is what happened. Doesn't matter what sort of personality the kid had and I hope they throw the book at the driver because a 46 year old man should know better than to taunt or beat up on a 10 year old.

I'm guessing you don't really care about what happened to this child and are really just here to show the world what sort of fool you can be about the topic of homophobic attacks and if that's the reason then this is my first and last post in reply to you.

Being gay isn't something to be ashamed of either, but being a bigoted homophobic fool like you is something to be ashamed of which also doesn't pay one to be.
