walk and push the kid out of harms way or run and use the momentum to carry both of you out of harms way.

sounds like suicide, either consciously or subconcsiously.

ya'll are using a form of praise as if the best possible outcome was made.

people can run in a straight line to get out of the way.
and people can use their vision to prevent themselves from walking into harms way.

i know a bus isnt the best example.. but if you are going to get hit, you can jump onto the hood.

3,000lbs vs 200lbs

manuverability always goes to the smaller.

if we are all hypnotized to be dumb and lazy.. it makes me wonder where in my life i am being affected.

bobby, I have now read a few of your posts on this forum, and have come to the conclusion that you are not playing with a full deck. I can also conclude that you had no upper level education, as your mastery of the English language is remedial at best.
Making ignorant comments about ANYONE who is killed by a bus is just wrong. Lets have compassion for one another and for this deceased person and his grieving family.

i was compassionate.
did i bother to go into detail about the carelessness it takes to walk out into the street between two vehicles.
cant see anything when there is a 4x4 (or utility van) blocking your view.

upper level education?
maybe you wanted me to say, SURE push the kid out of the way of the bus, so maybe the kid gets hit by a different car.
to say the 'pusher' looked at opposing traffic.. fine.
but to say that the bus would inevitably press on the brakes hard enough to make a vehicle behind the bus swerve into another lane to avoid rear-ending the bus.. well that is another target putting the kid's life at risk again.

i'm not here to tease and taunt about it.
only to say.. saving another persons life and giving up your own isnt always the ideal situation.
to give the person some respect..
did they take notice to the cars going in the opposing direction?
did they look for vehicles behind the bus that might swerve into the opposing lanes?
was it a random act of stupidity or was it done with self-respect?
the difference is quite an astoundment.
lots of people would push a kid out of the way.
not many would look around to make sure the kid would be safe if pushed out of the way.

and obviously..
if those areas where clear and free of vehicles.. why didnt he run across and pick the kid up?
that would have saved 'em both.
no sense giving an award to a suicidal person.

but excuse me,
any time somebody talks about the details people go grab their animal instincts and start tossing poo.

that 'making sense' is on part of your aptitude.
thanks for the 'update'

a whole lot of caring about what actually happened, not 'some guy saved a kids life.. lets praise him' nonsense.

people see a chance to get hit by a bus because they are saving a childs life and they think to themselves 'this is an easy way out'
and then they make the choice to take it.
well congrats on the easy way out.

there are people who have to review the case to rule it a suicide.. or if their last action on this planet was lazy and careless, regardless of what might blind other people.

unfortunate for you, i have a profile that stems information that is useful.
not countless arguing and belittling on the internet.
when given a chance, i say those chances come too often.

you seem to be blessed with giving wilmington a bad reputation.
perhaps you feel that if you live far enough away, maybe then you will be safe to run your ignorant mouth?

lucky for me, the internet activity is monitored.. as is most activity.
maybe i will be lucky enough to witness your prosecution and laugh at you.
