Nappanee, Wakarusa officials miss Obama speech

While this tiny farming town of 1,700 was front and center during President Barack Obama 's visit to Monaco RV this week, the town manager and council were watching the president speak from a TV inside town hall instead of in person.

I think it is distgusting that the Mayors of the small towns of Nappanee and Wakarusa were invited then uninvited by the Obama team ! Are we NOT IMPORTANT because we are mostly a group of "morally correct", down to earth people?
It is getting more scarey by the minute as our government grow and grows and just gets involved in every aspect of our living. Oh, I believe there is a name for that other than "The land of the free and home of the brave", is there not?
