EXCELLENT PLACE TO HAVE ONE

As a Mexican American who knows the culture this is a must at ALL areas where Mexicans live. Anywhere you have a large population of Mexicans and quite possibly Mexican illegal aliens or anchor babies is an EXCELLENT place to have a check point. Mexicans drink and drive almost incessantly and they need to be stopped. The Mexican illegal aliens are NOTORIOUS drunk drivers because they do so in Mexico line NOTHING. I just wish the police and CHP would have these at all cities where Mexicans and Mexican illegal aliens and anchor babies live or frequent.

You are so right. I don't mind going through these check points because I have a license, insurance and no violations. Get the low lives off the street. If they don't have a license they should not be driving or drunk or with a ton of vehicle violations. These are the ones that cause the most accidents. These check points save innocent lives.

The cops get money from the federal and state government to run these stops. All these donut munchers care about is the extra money to buy more powdered sugar donuts.

There's ways to stop drunk drivers, legally and constitutionally (not ignoring and skirting around the constitution) and still be effective law enforcement.

Not, Police State Checkpoints! Seriously, people need to protest when you see this. It assumes guilt for all until proven innocent. This mindset says we are all guilty and we all must be treated like criminals and scrutinized by law enforcement specifically looking for anything and everything to nail people on. The pretense is DUI, of course, that's to get you to swallow the hook.

We do have a 4th amendment that is SUPPOSED to protect us from unreasonable search and seizure. Specifically, to disallow these very Police State Actions! Our founding fathers were well aware of authoritarian dictatorships. And the intent behind individual freedoms and the right to travel was a direct opposition to the standard norm all throughout a world history of dictatorships.

It's time to restore the republic!

Really? Can you prove that statistic? Remember who has the highest demographics. There aren't many whites in Fontana anymore.
