Greg needs a dose of reality, along with his 2nd wife. How about PRISON? He needs to explain why he sold off the assets in the dead of the night. Why he didn't return the money to us.

I had the misfortune of dating Melissa (Downing) Alan in 2001. We broke up. She then lied to me about a pregnancy. Distraught, I agreed to loan her 10 grand. When it was time to pay, she disappeared. I sued her and won. I asked for payment, and she ignored. I had her served to appear at a judgment debtor hearing in court. She did not show, so an arrest warrant was issued. Within 7 days, she declared bankruptcy, and there was a long list of others that she was running from. I don't know about Club Sushi matters, but this is no surprise to me. What's also not surprising is that Karma always catches you.

Hey, Tricky, read the article again. Mr Gray is Mr Alan's attorney and is under no obligation to notify the HBPD.
Mr. Gray is a defense attorney. A District Attorney works for you and me, and HBPD. A DA prosecutes and if the state and HBPD have a case against this couple, it is the DA's obligation to notify the coppers.
This doesn't surprise me, however. The Torrance courts, just like all of LA County, California and Federal courts are a bureaucratic MESS of red tape, the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing, overload, overabundance of laws just to make money, sue happy, prosecution happy District Attorney's that clog up the system with such minor things that they wouldn't KNOW if criminals like these 2 turned themselves in....
If incompetency like this happened in the private sector everyone would be fired.
And Mr. Gray is RIGHT, it WASN'T his job!!!

I worked for these people at one of their restaurants. I can't speak for Melissa but Greg was a huge jerk and didn't run this restaurant fairly or efficiently. He was very materialistic. I think he should be in prison. They got off easy.
