CU-Boulder faculty chairman says he'll cancel his classes if students carry guns
The state Supreme Court has made it clear that the University of Colorado can't stop students with concealed-carry permits from bringing their guns to campus.

That is his right.
Getting an education is the tuition paying students' right.
I'm sure with the economy like it is, and universities dealing with budget cuts, there are plenty of Physics Professors looking for a job, and would gladly take over this guy's classes.

If he wants to quit he should but if he wants a job he needs to teach.

He does not need to know. Whenever he wants time off, he will just use it as a convenient excuse not to conduct class - guns present or not...
