Larry, have you seen the sacrament meeting talk by Boyd K. Packer? It was given back in October, but it goes right along with this article. He talks about becoming even more self-reliant and also of being prepared. It is a wonderful talk that everyone, LDS and Non-LDS, should read and take heed.

Thanks, but I'd rather place a shotgun into my mouth, pull the trigger, have my head splattered on to the rear wall than read what Elder Packer had to say.

Reminds me of the time I almost hurled while reading the Miracle of Forgiveness. I'm nauseated already!
