Mercy ,did you see on CNN where the Chinese are making chicken dumplins ?..60 percent of a can of dumplings is pasteboard. Now every time I see anything on my plate that came from a can it makes me sick.>I know the frozen foods can still have all those added chemicles but I think I would fair better to see what else in in the food sooo I'm going to buy nothing but frozen foods ...yes I am turning from canned foods. Our goverment should make the countries put lables on all foods as to where it was canned ,packaged so forth not just where it is distributed from. Its a shame that our goverment only inspects 5 percent of the foods that come to the United States.Especially when we have terroist that want to kill Americans. What better way than to poison us? They (the U.S.) would have so many dying and dead ..long before they could get a tracer on where the food came from.It is terrible to think.. panies go to other countries ..set up food processing plants .. and our goverment lets them return the products regardless of how its made or what it has in it without inspecting 95 percent of it.>> I totally advise you to read the lables on what you eat or prepare for your loved ones.Oh, and don't even think of purchasing their water and paying big tax on it. If the first ingredent is water you already know that more than half of what is in that can is water. I have already been putting mine back on the shelf. If I sport a little extra fat you can bet your bucks it didn't come from eating pastebord or consuming the watered down products ..not from now on .Buy a can of beans the best money can buy, wash the soy off and you will see what part is water. Now imagine they were dry. Shucks I could cook maybe a million dollars worth in one crock pot.>>If this doedn't get you to thinking I will let you take your chances with India, China and all those old countries that ship our foods to us and never say another word to you about what you eat. bt

Just stumbled across this news story about how there has been a law requiring that food be labeled by point of origin for 5 years now, but government keeps delaying it going into practical use.

Thank you Dave. Seems the Chinese are making more foods of pastebord.I read where the Chinese are going to stop shipments of food to the U.S. That is a good thing. The U.S. should have taken a hint after we buried our best friends. Now, instead of taking all the U.S. fields and planting corn and soybeans the U.S. should grow all our foods. Many couldn’t afford vehicles that use ethanol and toosome of those who made the ethanol just drank it so where were we better with it? Our government has gotten off ‘key’ for some time now. It’s time to stop thinking of the ‘dollar bill’ and start taking care of the people. I don’t care if the WHIGS ‘run’ the country as long as we get back to a government for the people by the people. bt

Yes ,I heard that. I hope one of then has proof of what they claim. That would be terrible to even suspect card board was used to feed someone. and it would be terrible to think a reporter would stoop so low as to do something like that. I'll wait for the outcome.
