ha ha, the jw gov body fooled you again!
they got free labor out of you.
the old kingdoom hall wasn't that old, nor was there anything wrong with it except that it was PAID OFF...... so, they issued a new loan, found a cheap lot, had a free workforce build a new structure, then collected the money from the sale of the other kingdoom hall, and now they are receiving the payments again, along with the lump sum of the sale of the other structure.
ha ha, they are stockpiling billions.
they use it as leverage in court when they get sued.
it's sorta like when hitler made the prisoners dig their own grave,....he deceived them into thinking it was for something else..... then he made them get in it, and he shot them.
jws are building the empire of the one whom jesus is warning against..... the wolf that came in the back door..... matt 24;24
It's plain to see that you have no idea what you are talking about.

Current Kingdom Hall has no loan payment, hasn't for at least 5 years.

Selling the old Hall raised the majority of the funds needed to build current one.

I remember as a teenager in the late 60s being involved in the traditional brick build of our Kingdom Hall all by voluntary helpers, which took us months. I got the chance to lay a few bricks in the wall, which made me very proud. The camaraderie was tremendous. Those with special trade skills coming in for miles to help us out. And constant refreshments being circulated by the sisters. Happy days indeed.
This is obviously the days before quick build, and the Witnesses are to be congratulated on their modern techniques.
I remember doing the same thing, starting with pouring the footings. The day before the concrete was to arrive it rained to the point that sump pumps were needed to drain the trenches.

Brickwork wasn't one of my favorite things though.

It was enjoyable.

Well as a matter of fact I do believe it.
Might have something to do with the fact that its true.
Or it might be the fact that I've seen the figures and done the math.

Imagine how much money is saved by "volunteer workers". Thats one of the reasons that the Watchtower corporation is near the top in financial terms. They may have plans to go public soon.Check out the financial shows on television.
I also have heard the rumors of the Watchtower going public. I wonder what assumed name they will use?

Don't believe anything you hear about Jehovah's witnesses until you read it in print from the Society. Many ex-witnesses just like to spread rumors and keep gossip alive about the Society among their circle of mongers. The Society keeps the witnesses informed of the progress they are making in the preaching work, and in buying new property.

They were only told that after the fact. For the 10 years they were not informed and only told that when they were caught and it become public knowledge. Talk about snakes talking out of both sides of their mouth !

My late Father, had the privilege of helping build the very first one in our area. If I recall right, altho he had a growing family. He pledged $500.00 toward building it(that was a lot at that time), and helped build it too. Altho he worked a fulltime job, he made time to help on this project. We spent many happy hours studying, and learning at the KH. Soemthing I have never forgotten. We used it for years. We now have 4, or 5, and need more.

Your poor fathers heart was in the right place helping build and donate his money. But the wt org has billions of buckeroo's because the zombie slaves give all they have to a cult they think is their savior. My mother was a hard core catholic and gave alot of her money to the catholic church. They didnt give a rats ass about her , just covering up the pervert preist and hording money for buying more realestate just like the wt.The wt has learned very well from the catholics. They even got the name of the of your cult from a spanish catholic monk from the year 1270 when he was writing a book he transulated the name yaweh to jehovah. Your second president of the wt didnt know at the time that it was a mistake from a catholic monk he just wanted to distance himself from russel . So he reanamed the international bible students to the jw's.
