With several projects proposed in this community of 8,400 residents, township officials might be asking if there ever was a recession that affected building.

"Morelli said the project would serve as a "gateway" to the township."

Gateway for what??? There is nothing in Bordentown but a bunch of "no-tell" motels, a 24 hr porn store, abandoned buildings (old Acme, Burger King, Ford dealership, machine rental store, Bradlees, Blockbuster, etc.) The town doesn't even have a CVS, Walgreens or Rite Aid, you have to leave the town to do any kind of shopping and Farnsworth Ave is a joke, no one is ever there, I don't know how any of the merchants there stay in business! "Gateway" to the township? Oh please!!!

A gateway on the riverline to bordentown city restaurants. Dont be closed minded. This, along with opening up to some waterfront businesses, could be an economic boom for this burgeoning city. We need to strike a up a resurgence in Bordentown. Take down some of the slumhomes, fix up the city and make it a more desirable place to live and do business. Perhaps your real estate value will go up and not just taxes as of late. This country and this city was founded on ideas just like this. So, "let's all jump on with the team for the big win"...

Hi Folks ... I am thinking about moving to Bordentown from the west coast. Would that be a huge mistake. Two of these three posts are very discouraging. Any suggestions? Perhaps another small town in NJ or PA? thanks

Bordentown doesn't have Mayoral Elections, the corrupt politicians running the town appoint each other this is why nothing ever changes, the township is a joke!
