Effective with the beginning of May this year the Allentown Borough governing body has taken a giant step backwards foward the further deteriation of what was a charming and thriving small farm town on the path to Monmouth County's version of Detroit.
Exasorbating its meger attention to fostering growth through development of its businesses by a token committe that meets only six (6) times a year, it has now passed Sewer Ordinance #07-2013, which it's abritrary and discriminatory content penalizes commerical enterprises in buildings housing residentials apartments by demanding that they be charged the commercial tax rate, which is double that other residentials pay.
