They should both lose there jobs. If they cant care for a dog how are they going to care for people? That dog cost tens of thousands of dollars they should have to pay for that cost. She got extra money for being a k-9 cop she should have to pay that back to.

Unbelievable how these two idiots got a slap on the wrist because she wears a badge and and he's an EMT. If you read the story closely, they dont even take responsibilty for killing the helpless Dog!
She blames him for not letting the Dog out of HER PATROL CAR because he said he would be there, and he blames an Emergency call he was at for having to let the Dog slowly die!
Both of these Numscals need to get fired from there jobs and forced to pay back 100k to the taxpayers for the cost of the Dog!

Although this is a sad ending for a k-9, let's not be so quick to judge...things happen. A human life is priceless and it seems we are giving animals the same dignity as humans! Who are we to judge? None of us were there when it happened so why are we so cruel in our judgements?
They should pay a fine and be put to desk jobs.

True, none of us were there when the Dog was suffocated to death,BUT,you still have a dead trained police Dog(valued at about 100K in taxpayers money) and no one who will admit guilt for it being left in an overheated squad car. NOW, the whole thing was played down because "its only a dog" and "poor police officers were busy with other things on their mind at the time".
I'm only saying that SOME justice should have been served, but cops as usual are above the law! WHY IS SHE STILL WORKING IN MT HOLLY?

I cannot believe that she does not even have to pay a fine! This just shows the incompetent people who think they are running this town. If that had been me or someone else we would be charged instead they pop their hands! Everyone in Mt.Holly should be furious with the People who run this town and demand that she (Officer) should be terminated. She(Officer) is an incompetent "Idiot"!
