Shaders are paying some of the highest taxes in the country and they can't even depend-on the local police to dispatch help to where it's needed? Yes, E911 and other technologies may be good most of the time...when they are working, but what do you think is going to happen when someone has a dire emergency, calls from their cell and says "I'm not sure of the address, but I'm just down the block from the old Mill Road Inn, ya-know, across from that school".

Some little 'twinkie' up at Burlington won't have the slightest idea where to send help. This is a very bad idea and you-guys should raise hell about it. While you're at-it, ask where all that tax money went.

BTW, the county where I live is as big as the state of Rhode Island and we pay almost nothing in property tax, but have excellent police protection. Somebody is stealing your money.

Please, I've called upon 911 here & have been met with sarcastic & demeaning attitude on more than one occasion. I pay the salary of these people; that which is NOT worth 60 grand! Please - wake the heck up people!!
