Building New Houses in Bordentown City

I think it's pathetic that the city allowed that ugly prefab house to be built on Farnsworth Ave across from Apps. Does this town have any ordnances? I am pretty sure another from the same building company is going up on Park Street. Other towns (i.e.: Morristown and Haddonfield) would never allow such a house to be built on their main street. Also whatís up with that despicable rental house on the corner of Park and Union (??? I think itís Union StÖnot sure though) that white place that looks like a crack house. Who owns that place and have they no respect? Itís a shame because it too is in a highly visible part of the city. I just wish some people would take more pride in their homesÖ even if they are an absentee landlord, do the right thing and have some respect for the history of this city.

I don't care about the new construction, there is some seriously criminal stuff going on in some of the apartments on Farnsworth. There's a building on Farns, down near the boathouse end right before Park, where I hear there are some hardcore drug dealers and the landlord is a cash only tax cheat.

This pisses me off more than a prefab new construction...

So what, who cares?! There's never anyone on Farnsworth half the time anyway. It's like a ghost town. How do the shops and restaurants stay in business? As for respect for the history, what a joke! Bordentown needs to move into the 21st century and get with the "NOW." The past is the past, so what, who cares?!

Does anyone know what they are doing with the empty lots on Mary Street behind the ball field? They finally demolished that eyesore.

And Willingboro is the creme de la creme of architecture! Please like you have room to talk! As for the house across from fits in better than a rancher or other cookie cutter house on a concrete slab.

not from defaults to that. I live in Bordentown and it's just my opinion that especially in the center of town there should be some codes for what can and can not be built. Let's strive to be better than a Hamilton. (And btw... that house looks like a cookie cutter house on a concrete slab in the center of a historical town.)

I thnk that bordentown city has a lot of neat old houses, but really needs about 75% torn down, the streets moved farther apart and larger lots with better parking put in.. most of the city is a slum.
