I have heard this before;and didnt believe it. Also have heard others mention that Boonville doesnt have any decent stores anymore..but the proof is when you go in places like Great American that used to be packed(so many businesses used to be so busy)and there is noone else in the store. Its like a ghost town, where people used to be and noone anywhere anymore.

I notice you constantly defend the police with BS excuses and play the change the ip address game to hide so I figured you were either a snitch, ex cop or current cop. Either way you obviously have a very low self esteem problem with your constant bashing of people and re re comments! You really need to wise up and stop being such a "boy"!!!!!

The problem in this town is that people don't shop in the local businesses, then they complain when they close. Now we're loosing Adirondack Music. That guy helped everyone in town. He volunteered most of his time...churches, organizations, band. When he was asked to help, he did. But...when it comes to people buying their TV's and stereos there, they went to Best Buys, Walmart etc to save money. Now he's closing. When you bought something from Jeff, he serviced it, he installed it, he fixed it,,,all you had to do was call him, he was there. Do you get that service from Wally world? Too bad! Another one bites a dust because of selfish people tying to save a buck and wasting money on gas to do so. too bad! What store is next??? Great American? Allens? Jacksons?

Why is there not one single good restaurant in Boonville? B-ville hotel is okay, but way overpriced. There's just nothing there!

Yes Boonville is on a spiral down fall. The main reason there is no major amounts of money for investments in future companies or growth. Everyone is content with the way things are and don't want to change. All highly skilled individuals leave the area and what is left. Welfare money can not create a thriving community. Each year some event or business stops being in Boonville. Time is taking it toll and it's only a matter of time that Boonville will be stictly a bedroom community

That is sad that Adirondack music is closing, I took my first guitar lessons there...Jeff is a great guy and has a wonderful family. It is sad that people do not utilize the facilities and business' they have there and decide to drive out of town. Boonville is a great town....hopefully it will pick up soon

They have had a "going out of business" sale for the past 8 years
When I see them closed, I'll believe it.

If I was looking to start a new buisness I wouldn't look to Boonville. Too many people get on here and run it down if you are not from boonville. You do it every time..

People in Boonville tend to be cheap. Most people want something for nothing and they will accept poor quality because it's cheap. Adirondack Music provided quality products at the best price he could and they provided excellent service. It's a darn shame! As far as the restaurants go...the only type of restaurant that will succeed here is another Charlie Browns. Plenty of food...cheap price. That's what Boonville wants. A decent restaurant won't make it. WE have no good restaurants here because the community won't support it unless it's CHEAP and a restaurant that gives away food won't survive in this day and age.

I was always told to keep the money local and always have! I loved shopping at Adirondack Music! I was always treated with the utmost of respect even if I asked the dumbest question in the world Jeff would grin and give a sincere answer! Their prices were always fair for the top quality products they carried! I will miss them!
