Although delicious, I feel the single serve is overpriced. 1.99 for one scoop? 2.99 for one scoop make your own sundae? Will not go there for ice cream again.

The milkshakes have gone downhill also. They were so thin it was like drinking chocolate milk. I will go to Mercer's to get mine from now on.

Ya they might be over priced with cones and shakes but the price for half gallons of there ice cream are cheaper then any other and if you notice you get a full half gallon. All the others like bryers or perries they arent full half gallons.

I have always thought that Mercers had the best ice cream, but recently I purchased to half gallons; chocolate peanut butter and strawberry florentine. I think the chocolate peanut butter has less than an tablespoon of peanut butter in it and the stawberry had absolutely no strawberries and it wasn't even pink..it was half vanilla! Very disapponted for the price they charge. Stewarts has my ice cream business from now on. Much better ice cream at almost half the price. YEA STEWARTS!!!

I was recently home for a visit and we stopped at Mercer's and I was disappointed how downhill it has gone, I think the girls that work there need some better training, they had no idea how to handle a crowd and the Strawberry Cheesecake was not made like it was years ago..........very sad for a Boonville landmark.

When every other customer comes in and has a complaint about something the day gets very long and patience gets a little thin at times. Going for ice cream used to be a happy treat, now everyone comes in with a complaint about something; those girls don't get breaks when the lines are out the door for hours nonstop, and it's not the girls fault that your favorite ice cream isn't in the case, just order another yummy flavor and suck it up!

First off I never said they didn't have my favorite flavor, I said it didn't taste the same (poor quality) and second I stated the girls needed better training........so before you spout off , read what was written. I will suck it up and not give them my business anymore..........have a nice day.

We know how to handle a crowd. We know what we are doing. We do our best, but you also need to think. We are TEENAGERS. We deal with angry people all day that disrespect us just because the line is long. I assure you that we are going as fast as we can. We never get breaks. Once it gets busy, we don't go to the bathroom, sit down and rest, or even eat dinner until it's time to go home. We are in pain while we serve you, and I wish that you would understand that. We give up food, and push through the pain all so you can have some ice cream.
I am sorry if you feel that our service is not up to par, I really am. When I deal with the customer, I try to make them feel like they are the only ones there. I joke around with them and have a good time. I absolutely love going to work and seeing all of you people and serving you. I'm happy to be a part of Mercer's. If you have any real complaints, please direct them to the Mercer's store, and not online.
To the 90's Mercer's Chick, a lot has changed. You haven't worked there since the 90's. We have new bosses and different ways of handling things.

I just want to let you all know that I am severely upset with the fact that you felt the need to come online and run our names through the trash. I feel so disrespected.
I really appreciate your business and hope you continue to come. If there is ever an issue with our service, please speak up and we will direct you to our boss, or we could write it down and leave it on one of their desks.
