Have you guys noticed the amount of commercials that are being run during a program. You watch 10 minutes of your program and 10 minutes of commercials. This is getting really sad you pay a high cost for cable and get half your programming in commercials.

If anyone should be arrested for robbery it should be Time Warner. Cable bills keep going up all the time! They are robbing us for sure! Yes, commercials out weigh the programs!

They have us by the short hairs either we pay or we do without. Even the people that had antennas ended up paying for a box and it was advertised as free to start with . I'm sick of it

I had direct tv and thought it was great to start but like the cable company they too slowly started raising there price. Or the prices on there different package deals. And what sucked was I had no local channels like 2,3,5,etc I don't know if they changed since I've had it . It has been at least 10 years since I had direct tv.

I call Time Warner Cable once a year and threaten to shut my services off and go somewhere else. They always seem to have some kind of promotion that they can put me on for a year. Then when my pricing goes back up I call again. They have these promotions for existing customers that they don't advertise. Just call and tell them you can't afford their service anymore and need to reduce your bill or you'll have to leave them and you'll see how quickly your pricing comes down. Works every time. I've been doing it for about 4 or 5 years now.

I do the same thing with directv and it works the same if you threaten to leave they come up with promotions to keep you. Personally i prefer directv seeing they have yes network and amc. Plus the picture is crystal clear.

I think direct tv has high speed Internet at least I think they do but I believe you have to get a different dish and I think it's very expensive. I could be wrong but I had direct tv some time ago and I checked into Internet then and seems to me it was expensive.

Ever since I got Netflix, it's all I use. Screw cable and satellite. Anything on cable is on Netflix or elsewhere on the internet for free. I'm probably going to get rid of Cable TV from Time Warner, but will keep the phone and internet.

I have worked for 2 cable companies, neither TWC, and I can tell you they all have a Retention Department that works to save customers from switching but they usually do not allow back-to-back retention offers, which is why many switch to dish for a year, return to their cable company for a year, go back to dish, etc. The REAL promotions are for new customers only and the discount codes are not accessible on any existing accounts, this I know from working in the sales department.

As for the programming and amount of ads... that is NOT something the cable companies have any control over. They simply broadcast the programming the network sends them, so if you want to complain you'll need to do so to the channel itself, like go to ABC.com for example.

As for the rising costs of the programming, this has a lot to do with the contracts the networks have with the cable companies and when it's time to re-negotiate they of course raise their prices and threaten to stop working with the cable company unless they get what they want. At Comcast many customers requested a specfic ESPN channel but because the cost of adding that 1 channel woud have raised EVERYONE'S rates over $1 a piece it was never added. And all those "filler" channels that you don't think anyone watches? Check out who they're owned by. They usually come as part of a package deal in order to get the prime programming.

I know it sucks but unfortunately it is what it is.
