Why is it that in this past week's Boonville Herald legal notices the Village of Boonville is seeking bids for a NEW POLICE car??

This is NOT meant to be a BPD bashing but......really, every other municipality and city are reducing or consolidating PD.

Is there a money tree in the village?? Law enforcement and a presences is important....but a new car??

why not just have the cops steal the money for the new car? After all boonville cops have a history of being thieves.

This police department needs a new vehicle to perform their duties as they are asked to do. It is part of government to purchase new vehicles when needed. Their older vehicles have high mileage, and many hours of service. Please stop the bashing if you don't know what you are talking about. There is no consolidating as there is no other police departments this far north in Oneida county. Don't say State police there are now shorthanded. Also the Sheriff patrol is in budget problems also. So bear with us. We know what we are doing. Thank You.

Yeah! You guys sure do know what you're doing. Harrassing and profiling everyone. 25 percent of your crash course rent-a-cops handle procedure wrong and illegally. I am bashing the police. You're just glorified metermaids! Get a Challenger this time so you can make more trips every Saturday night from the Pub to the Hulbert House and back. You guys should walk a beat like back in the old day.

They get a grant for a new vehicle if you didn't know. People need to grow up and get your facts before you complain.

My vehicle has high mileage too but that don't mean it's bad. As for what I think they need another picinic table at stewarts that is were the pd is based out of isn't it. Personally think the tax payers of this town could live without them we do just fine when they aren't on duty. If I need help I call county or state they are way more usefull, and what about the person who had to call state because of the way the local pd was acting. People need to really wake up find out some of these mens backgrounds i wouldn't let most of them babysit my dog.

LMAO! Dont they already park while they're eating? I've never noticed them circling the building like indians attacking a wagon train.
Perhaps you think it would be a great money saver if, when they are already working within the village, they drive back to the barn to have lunch and then back up to the village to work?

We all know better. Please do not insult us that have watched his addiction issues ruin his body, his face, and his character. He looks to be 90. In the end it is no ones business but so sad to see a local boy appear to be a homeless rack of dirty bones. Go deny it all you want but time will tell the truth period!!!!! That is just the way truth works.

Maybe they should use the cool FUZZ white dodge to pull people over! What kind of idiot writes THE FUZZ on his queer truck to begin with, but hello his windows are all blacked out AND not to mention the loud exhaust! I witnessed him flying through the A-plus parking lot from 12 to woodgate drive on Saturday, mayb sunday while pumping my gas, I am assuming he was in too much of a hurry to wait at the stop light! He then hammered on it waking up my sleeping babies in the backseat. These assholes should practice what they preach instead of acting all big and bad and mighty!!---You my friend are a douchebag!! THE FUZZ!!

They don't want to get pee on their car seats. And I don't blame them. He has a problem but no one wants to intervene. It is so sad. I hope one day his life will change. He comes from a good and kind family. And because of that he has potential. Let's hope for the best.

Playing the Devil's Advocate, but if you choose to name names, your's should also be here. And if not here, then in a formal complaint versus (citizen) which anyone can do through the channels of the law. You DO have the right to remain anonymous, until you ACCUSE. At that point in time, the accused has the right to know his/her accuser. So let's cut out the middle-man...who are you?
