BOONVILLE After leading police on a four-mile pursuit, a Boonville man was arrested Friday and faces eight traffic violations as well as several other charges, officials said.

Abner Rosbrook, 31, was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, driving while intoxicated, driving with .08 percent blood alcohol content or more, third-degree unlawfully fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle and fourth-degree criminal mischief, along with several traffic infractions, Boonville police said Sunday.

Officials said the incident began on Post Street in the village when Rosbrook was speeding and failed to keep right, crossing into the opposing lane. Rosbrook continued to operate his vehicle recklessly, police said, leading officials on a four-mile pursuit that continued onto Route 12D and into Lewis County.

Police said Rosbrook finally was apprehended when he lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway and slid down an embankment.

He was issued vehicle and traffic tickets as well as appearance tickets and released to a third party to return to Boonville Village Court on Oct. 31.

Im so shocked by the behavior of these citizens! I think you ironically titled this thread to stress that these two aren't model citizens at all, didn't you?
Okay, that's all of the sarcasm I have left in me tonight, so Im just going to get on with what I want to say. Im sure that you posted these to increase the awareness of unsavory types of people in our town, but truthfully, I resent your posts.
I resent them because you are relaying information that has already been reported to the public,(I don't think that anybody in these forums are nearly unintelligent enough to need your emphasis on anything, let alone a public news story) and because, since they've already been humiliated through the arrest, your excessively prosecuting them.
And now, let me say this stress my last point once more: THEY WERE ARRESTED, and a news outlet HAS ALREADY POSTED THE STORIES. If they hadn't, you wouldn't know about it.
So please, next time you feel like becoming a righteous, anonymous hero of the internet, do everyone else on the site a favor, and don't.
