No because I talked to about a dozen people and there's either doubled or went way up

It is time you people bitch to Ken Stabb about buying all the new vehicles, and not to sound like I don't want to see a descent wage, but we are not in an area where all employees can earn $70,000 plus. Wake up people!

Yeah, confront it so they sell out to National Grid. You people would vapor-lock if you had to pay the kilowatt hours for national grid or NIMO. Why don't you get someone to check your house to see where improvements can be made (weather stripping, etc). OR supplement your electric heat with something else (wood, pellets, etc).

I have been gone out of the area since last Fall. Why would my bill have been doubled? Something is fishy here.

It was incredibly cold for a week or better last month, possibly that has something to do with the higher bills?

There has to be an explaination. Maybe this was a one-time thing or a special hike? Is there a new calculation on purchased power? I just want to know why this is happening. I don't mind paying more if there is a legitimate explanation. Hiking to the rate for what appears to be no reason is wrong.

Who would stand to gain the most from a bunch of people switching away from electric heat? Maybe someone in the business of selling firewood or someone that installs oil furnaces? Check out who is on the board!

I think you all should show up there and demand to know what is going on! There is strength in numbers! Maybe have the media there too.
