Kevin wrote: Does anyone know what this guy does? is in involved in NASCAR somehow? Sounds like we all want to know the same thing. He gave me his business card in Richmond. He also showed his NASCAR credentials. I called the phone number but got an answering machine. Left a message but no response from him yet. What's his deal?

I MET HIM IN Daytona and I lost his card, I was suppose to call him 4-6 wks before the NH race because my husband and I have season passes and alls I wanted at Daytona was a picture of Kyle in the pit and no one would do it so he gave me his card and said I could do it myslef.

I meet Mr. Mahaffey yesterday at MIS. He told me the same thing, to call before the next race I attend and he will take care of me. It was my first race, and it was exciting. He gave me his card. The elephant place is a greating in Asia that means good luck and good tidings. According to someone at the track, he is a business man who attends every race. Quite the gentalman, and well respected.

I met him on Saturday in the pits here at California Speedway. We were talking to some folks that were going to be at Richmond next weekend. He told them to give him a call this coming Tuesday and be near a Fax Machine. We'll follow up with them to see how it went.

My wife and I met him at Infineon in June. He said he was Ward Burton's boss, meaning he was connected with State Water Heaters, Ward's sponsor. He was smoking a cigar and wearing a #4 pit cap with his NASCAR credentials dangling from his neck. He wanted to know when we were going to the next NASCAR race and we told him Talladega in October. Like the previous posters, he said to give him a call a few weeks before the race and he would set us up with garage passes and whatever else we wanted. If we didn't believe him to ask the three younger men standing near him. The three guys were from Modesto and said they met him a few years ago also at Infineon and he sets them up with motorhomes for Bristol, garage passes at all the races they attend and that he was the "real deal" and that I should call. Today I called the number on his card and left a message with my phone number. I'll let you know what, if anything, happens. I think he'll call me back.

My fiance and I were standing by a gate in Loudon waiting for the trucks to leave. While waiting this man (stephan) asked me where this Jimmie Johnson fan was from.I answered him and he gave me a card.He also asked what I did for work and I told him that I was a stay at home mom unable to work due to my daughter's illness. He asked me what was wrong with her and I told him that she had a seizure disorder.I told him that I was trying through make a wish foundation to get her to meet JJ because that is her dream and he told me to call him 4-6 weeks before the race and he would make it happen. The people in the car with him also said that he could make this happen and said just call and he'll take good care of you.I'm pretty excited to see what happens.Robert let me know what your outcome is.Thanks and good luck.
