Do I believe the Bow hunter's story,(NO)! If it is not listed in the Missouri hunting code laws you are not to kill the animal. In my opinion if the animal is not threating you, which it wasn't nor do I believe your livestock threatened either then let it alone. Guess you are another hunter that won't get a summons. Oh, and to say for myself I am not against hunting but believe some hunters just like to kill these kind of animals to say look what I took. When Missouri's population of Wolves and Mtn. Lion become a problem, I'm sure there will be a hunting season placed on them. However until then "Shame" on the hunter that take these beautiful animals just for their own "badge" of accomplishment. I believe the last time a wolf hurt someone in Missouri was 1910..
